The chalet's location is superb -- close to skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, and other water sports plus shopping, dining, sporting, and cultural attractions. Only 1/2 mile to Hardy Road Mountain Bike and Hiking Trails. Each summer, the IRONMAN competition passes right through our town of Wilmington!

The list of activities at this vacation home is endless. Whether you're visiting for a quick getaway, extended stay or special event, Beaver Brook Chalet will keep you relaxed and ready for adventure!

Bedroom Details:
Beaver Brook Chalet sleeps 10 people. There are 4 bedrooms, two on the first floor: the master has a king-sized bed, and the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and walk-in closet. Two king-sized beds are on the second floor in two separate bedrooms across the hall. The upstairs bedrooms do not have a door, but there is privacy. There is also 1 queen-sized foam mattress for 2 additional guests. This chalet comfortably sleeps 8 people. If there are 10 guests, please know space will be tight, but you're on vacation and are free to decide what you prefer.

On the first floor is one ensuite master bedroom with a private bath and king bed. The second bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed close to the second bathroom. Both bathrooms are clean and comfortable.

All bedrooms have flat-screen televisions, fans, warm color schemes, and comfy linens. Bedrooms have ceiling lighting and side table lamps that offer a softer glow for watching TV or relaxing. All linens are included. Each lovely bedroom has warm, stylish colors and tasteful decor for a luxurious stay. The beds are comfortable and inviting for a restful night's sleep under beautiful, warm quilts. Extra pillows are on the beds for your enjoyment, and spare blankets are available for chilly nights. All bedrooms have closets and drawer space for unpacking. The first-floor bedrooms have ceiling fans to enable greater air circulation. The upstairs bedrooms have floor fans to circulate air if needed.

The open living area combined with the Kitchen and Living area is the perfect place for entertaining and spending time with family and friends. The living area has a gas fireplace, comfortable couches, and flat-screen television and is open to the kitchen and kitchen seating area, making it enjoyable for the entire group.

Bathroom Details:
The bathrooms in this amazing chalet are spotlessly clean and comfortable. There is ample ceiling and over-sink lighting in all bathrooms. Mirrored medicine cabinets and vanities offer space with which to store your belongings. The master and guest bathrooms boast a custom tub, combination showers, glass doors, and a toilet. All bathroom fixtures are elegant and simple to use. There are ample water pressure and lighting in each bathroom. We think you'll find each one immaculate and lovely.

Kitchen:
Our kitchen is a chef's dream! Gas stove and granite countertops and a full complement of tools and appliances, you'll enjoy preparing fantastic meals for the entire crew! Stools around the table bar area enable your group to eat and gather all together for great conversation and offer easy access to the deck.

Wireless internet plus local phone calling (USA only) are conveniently provided. Long-distance calls are not included; however, you can call over wifi using appropriate apps.

Outdoor Living:
The outdoor living space at Beaver Brook Chalet is sure to please with fantastic amenities to help you maximize your vacation enjoyment. Magical mountain views from the deck and fire pit of Ebeneezer and Winch Mountains on 4 fantastic and very private acres are lovely. The deck contains a 5-person hot tub, dining table, and chairs. The yard offers plenty of room for playing and enjoying the great outdoors and a fire pit for making s'mores and memories with family and friends. Adirondack chairs are provided.

Game Room:
The lower level includes a living area with 2 sofas, 2 tables, a TV, a Table and 4 chairs, Ping Pong Table, and Foos Ball Table for family and friends to enjoy while recovering from your daily adventures.

Additional Information:
For your comfort, from June 1st to September 15th, we are pleased to provide the main and upper-level bedrooms and the living room with air conditioning units.

The following items are minimally supplied (only enough to get you started): toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, laundry, and bath soap. Linens are provided, including bed sheets. washcloths, and bath towels, to use during your stay. We do not supply kitchen spices, condiments, hand towels, washcloths, beach towels, shampoo, body soaps, or charcoal.

A plow service shovels snow (above 5 inches) in winter. Sand and a snow shovel are available on the front deck for guest use.

The location of Beaver Brook Chalet is perfect for couples, families, adventurers, nature lovers, shoppers, foodies, and everyone else! For children, Beaver Brook Chalet is indeed a dream! The game room and a large yard to run and play amongst trees and rocks are sure to delight! Children will delight in combing the grounds for dead wood to stock the outdoor fire pit and -- once the fire is roaring -- roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, and sharing stories from the day!

The home is ideally situated, just 1.9 miles from Whiteface Mountain Resort, a 15-minute drive from Lake Placid, and steps from hiking trails ranging from relaxed walking/beginner trails to hard climbs/expert trails. Be sure to visit the beautiful Wilmington Flume, a 3-minute drive from the chalet.

Boasting over 283 acres of skiable terrain, 86 trails, and 11 lifts, Whiteface Mountain has the greatest vertical drop east of the Rockies. It features diverse terrain for beginner skiers and snowboarders, expert glades and slides for the advanced, and loads of trails for everyone in between! The longest run is the 2.1 mile 'Wilmington Trail,' and total skiing and snowboarding trails stretch over 22 miles. Whiteface Mountain is truly fun for everyone! In summer, Whiteface offers splendid views, gondola rides, mountain biking, extreme tubing, and more.

Lake Placid is a charming, all-season resort town, it boasts a Main Street; unique, locally-owned shops; loads of dining options; sporting and cultural events, a movie theater, mini-golf, and a waterfront park where live music is featured weekly during summer. The town also has supermarkets, delis, and other conveniences. Lake Placid is a 15-minute drive from Wilmington along NYS Route 86. Wilmington Notch on the way is breathtaking and has been designated part of the Olympic Scenic Byway. Hiking trailheads and beautiful High Falls Gorge are accessible right from the road!

Close to Lake Everest in Wilmington, which has a beach, boat rentals, kayaking, picnic area, playground, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, paddle boarding, ice skating, and so much more!

Beaver Brook Chalet is kept clean, and the owners and rental team take tremendous pride in ensuring that it is perfect for each guest's vacation. Our handyman service is on call 24 hours a day for any issue during your stay.

Select USA & Canadian holidays are subject to a 3 to 5-night minimum stay, otherwise there is a 2-night minimum stay. Pricing includes nightly rent, cleaning fee, Damage Protection Policy fee, and 5% Essex County bed tax. The Damage Protection fee covers accidental damage to furniture, appliances, electronic devices, windows, doors, and any home resource up to $1,500. If damages exceed, $1,500, guests agree to cover the difference.
