We had the most amazing time at Ginger. The house was cozy and clean and conveniently located. We enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed the comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Our favorite room was the sun room, which we used to hang out and play games. Speaking of games, we loved playing the Lake of the Ozarks version of monopoly. The dock was beautiful and perfectly equipped with fishing rods and worms as well as kayaks and everything you need to clean fish. We also loved that paper towels, Kleenex toilet paper and plastic wrap and foil were provided. Most rental properties do not provide those items. Overall this was the best rental property we have ever stayed in

We had the absolute best time at Lakeside at Ginger! The house is so beautifully decorated and they thought of everything you could possibly need and then some. Our children (ages 10 and 13) loved the high platform for jumping into the lake and the slide. The lily pad was also a favorite! We all enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddle board. This was truly one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had! We go so lucky with beautiful warm weather in early October. The kids had fun fishing, swimming and playing. No need to even rent a boat for the lake when there is so much to do at the house! All of the beds are so comfortable and we slept in later than we usually do. We cooked most of our meals at the house and they had everything we needed. I can’t say enough good things about our stay! We loved the sunroom, especially in the evening. We taught the kids how to play poker and had such relaxing nights out there. So glad we found this house!

From opening the door to our last minute, everything was perfect! Spotless. Beautifully decorated but very usable! Obvious there was thought put into everything. We loved the comforr of the beds and the pillows. We used the sun porch everyday for breakfast and morning coffee. When we cooked, we ate dinner in there as well! Our favorite area was the dock. Loved the water, the seating area, the bar, the Bluetooth speaker was amazing to have! Spent hours down there floating, used the paddle board and the kayaks! I could go on and kn! This place is great! Jeannette is amazing, easy to communicate with, very friendly and genuinely wants people to have fun while there! I would love to return!

This is the perfect lake house and they truly cover all possible needs and wants. The home was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and they provide comfortable beds/bedding and plenty of towels. The dock and the dock toys are the stars of the property. My kids loved the slide, the jump platforms and the lily pad. The living room was perfect for family movies before bed and all the family games available was a nice touch. I am recommending this place to family and friends.

We could not have asked for more. The amenities were the best we have ever experienced; the lily pad and paddle board were a big hit. The game table was used every evening. Having three bathrooms and the ice machine was a huge plus. The boat dock was also excellent with an additional refrigerator, jumping platform and great stairs out of the lake. I would highly recommend this rental.

Amazing place. We went specifically for the lake. This place did not disappoint! Great dock to swim off. The cove was calm and relaxing. The place had and excellent 3 season porch which allowed bug free evenings playing games and watching the lake. The place itself is very nice and had everything we needed. Kids said it was their favorite place we have stayed. I highly recommend this place.

Nice getaway

Had a great experience with a hotel-like feel for a house. I think the owners did a great job making the property feel like an escape. The best amenity was the ice maker which was so convenient for our trip. Parking was a little tough given where the property sits but you’re at the lake and almost all properties there are on a hill - not much the owners can do about that. The kids absolutely loved the water slide and jumping platforms on the dock. I would stay here again and would recommend the property to anyone!

The lake is quaint as well as the surrounding community. Most homes have a ridiculously steep driveway that is difficult to navigate as well as climb, as did our rental! No mention of this or pictures in listing. Also the bedrooms were uncomfortably warm at night, fans are supplied, but living area was quite cool while sleeping was warm! Also skylight in master bedroom made for early morning wake up!

Wonderful home!

The home was clean, thoughtfully appointed and had all the necessities for an enjoyable and relaxed stay. The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of refrigerator storage. The dock was wonderful with plenty of seating and all the amenities we could need! While not technically in the no wake part of the cove, boat traffic was no problem. It was a close drive to Scooter’s for jet ski rental and even closer by water. The owners were very responsive with any questions. We look forward to returning for our annual family vacation!

Awesome oasis

This space had everything we needed for a family get together. The home is functional and stylish. The home has great spots to gather together but also cozy areas to have your own time. The outdoor space was perfect for play and relaxing. The hosts were easy to contact and thoughtful with their information packet. We’d definitely book again!

Relaxation with the perfect view

We went to the lake for a long weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday and Lakeside at Ginger was PERFECT for our family of three. We had wonderful communication with the hosts leading up to our stay, throughout our stay when needed, and following our stay. The hosts made their home so welcoming to guests and we had the best time relaxing in the sunroom and catching lake views from each floor. It was perfectly clean, accommodating of all of our needs - even for our three year old who can be the most high maintenance, and was decorated so nicely. We loved being close to Baxter’s for a nice dinner out, Hy-Vee for groceries and tesla charging station and Woodards when we just needed a quick item here or there for food and drink.Going at the end of October we knew the water would be cold but we still loved sitting on the dock or one on the many decks at the back of the house. We told ourselves we would come back when it was warmer to take full advantage of all of Lakeside at Ginger’s accommodations. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved that we were made to feel at home. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing cove and beautifully remodeled home

We loved staying at their home. The cove is deep and quiet with main channel views. The dock is awesome! The extended living room outside the main level really makes the house feel large. It’s well equipped with plenty of seating and views for days. Will be back with my crew next summer!

Great family getaway!

Everything about this house is great for families. The screened in porch, the great dock with bar and fridge!! Water slides, platforms to jump off of, a lily pad, and the slip was perfect for our boat! (29' LOA and 8.5' beam). The house itself is nice, updated, comfortable, with a big kitchen! This worked perfect for our twins turning 16 and all their friends! Highly recommend!

Best house on the lake for families and small groups!

We wanted a quiet spot on the lake, to disconnect and relax. We were amazed by everything, the details in the listing were spot on. The very steep driveway is the typical lake experience. After the time was up, we all wished we had a couple more days to enjoy the house. The lakeside amenities were handy and well stocked. The ice machine and storage room were a bonus. Each bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with items and reminders for the septic tanks. The kitchen was ample and accommodating. The beds were comfortable, and linens soft. It had a great view of the lake, sunrises were memorable. The owners were kind, responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to friends/family, would return in the future!

Great house, awesome dock

Our family spent a few days enjoying this home. Close to restaurants and shopping. The cove was quiet and peaceful. The private swim dock was great! We enjoyed our time here. Only complaint, and not really a complaint, would be the driveway. It’s very steep and a little hard to maneuver with a larger vehicle…. But, that’s the way it is at the lake, so it’s to be expected. Overall, we really liked the place! It’s a nice, clean home!

Wedding Weekend at Ginger Road

Amazing! My husband and I decided to have our small weekend wedding just on the lower deck and when saying we were impressed is an understatement! We took children and adults and everyone was comfortable and had a blast! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The space in the home is very well used. Everything you would need for any length of stay. We will be going back and staying at this property. If there were more than 5 stars available, they would get them all!

Our family of 9 had a great time! We spent most of our time at the dock. Lots of space with tables for lunch and games at night. The lily pad was perfect and lots of floats were provided. The dock bar was an added bonus! The house is clean and decorated nicely. We will definitely be back!
