'The staff did their best, but the condition of the furnishings and carpet etc needs to be addressed. Our key cards didn’t work on multiple occasions; many others in the hotel had the same problem. The rooms are gloomy and dark. The dresser in the room had drawers that kept sliding open. The sofa in the room was stained and worn; we were afraid to sit on it. Some of our party wanted to use the pool. There were no pool towels. The hot tub water was green and needed to be cleaned.'

'Hilton staff is the best! From the front desk greeting and check in to the cleaning crew everyone is friendly and helpful. We always stay at the Garden Hilton when we travel to Kansas City. '

'Water temperature has two settings, scalding hot and off. Hard to get a bar of soap. Two pancake pillows for a queen size bed and unable to get any more. Broken vending machine. Kitchenette in the room but not pots, pans, glasses, or dishes. No ice machines and no ice cube trays. No "do not disturb" sign for the door. Would not stay here again.'
