Ample on-site parking. Clean and comfortable. good kitchen appliances,& cookware, with decent size fridge with large freezer. Good location,not directly on busy road. Pet friendly in nice residential neighborhood.

A very clean, cozy Wisconsin cabin. Great location within lovely Williams Bay and nearby Lake Geneva and Lake Como. The host Jim is a very approachable person and available whenever you need. The property is well maintained and is peaceful. Study up on your early American history because the host knows his stuff. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward for a return trip in the future.

We did not expect a luxury stay, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst lodging experiences we have ever had. The property was advertised as a single cabin, but the reality did not match the description or the positive reviews that led us to book it. The cabin had a very strong moldy smell, the floors were filthy, and the furniture was old and visibly water-damaged, including at the bottom of the bathroom furniture. The sheets had a lot of hair on them, which made us question whether they had been properly changed and cleaned. Several things also needed repair. The blinds were difficult to operate and had missing parts. There were loud AC units in both rooms, positioned right next to the bed and sofa, making it difficult to get comfortable or sleep peacefully. The kitchen was another disappointment. Plates and cups were stored underneath the sink, and the same towel used in the bathroom appeared to be provided for drying dishes. The sofa and kitchen chairs were stained and generally looked dirty. There was also essentially no privacy. The parking lot was only a few feet behind our bedroom window, and we were awakened around 7 a.m. every morning by people coming and going, which is understandable for a roadside motel but not what we expected when booking a private cabin. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and seemed very old. Whenever the person next to you moved, the entire mattress moved with them—it genuinely felt like sleeping on a water bed. We absolutel

Nice weekend getaway. Cabin was very nice and in a good neighborhood. We stayed for a concert at Alpine Valley & the drive was easy (after getting a tip from the owner). Would definitely stay here again!

This was a lovely cabin for our weekend stay. Our host, Jim, was so kind! We felt comfortable and safe having our dog there. The cabin itself was clean and cozy. Definitely plan on returning for another trip!

Great location, quiet, very comfortable. Only bedroom had air conditioning with a ceiling fan. Kitchen and living area just had a ceiling fan, it was 90 and humid outside when we stayed, so it was a little uncomfortable in those areas,. There was a coffee pot, but no coffee, would’ve been nice to have couple small packages of coffee in the morning.

Will definitely stay again!

Awesome price, place, location, and host! Genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better time. The cabin was the perfect amount of space for myself and my partner plus our dog (who LOVED the yard). Location was a huge convenience - easy access to the beach/water as well as Main St. Also the little grocery store you pass as you enter the property had anything we would need for our trip. I will definitely be staying again. Thanks Jim!

Weekend Stay

We stayed for a weekend trip and honestly had no real complaints. Jim was very friendly and responsive. Check in and out was super simple. The room was clean and everything worked. The only thing I would say is that you can hear noise right outside your doors and windows (but that's to be expected) and I wish the window coverings blocked more light or 100% covered the windows. Overall great stay for the price.

Could’ve been nicer…

Jim was great with communication and meeting up with us, top notch. Where I think he could’ve done better was the cleanliness of the place. The floors had dead ants and dead flying ants all over the bedroom, like they just sprayed. The rooms smell of mildew, could use some damp rid. I’m not going to pick it apart, just thought there was some room for improvement, that’s all!

Hotel

This is a old hotel. Individual cabin type pretty clean did find a dirty wash cloth in the shower some cobwebs but that didn't bother me. Room had everything you needed for your stay except air-conditioning. The AC was a 8000 btu portable unit would not cool the unit had to close the bedroom door to cool just that room. Possibly would suggest in the future to turn it on sooner before guests arrive to get the humidity out and cool the place down.
