Beautifully Remodeled Lake Front Home ~ Includes Kayaks!

Roy Lake is a beautiful lake with amazing fishing! Walk through the front door, and begin to experience lake living, with breathtaking views of the lake. This lovely updated home has an open floor plan, with a spacious, fully furnished kitchen. Enjoy your meals and conversations at the large dining room table, or on the expansive covered deck. Relax in the comfortable living room, or head out to the deck to enjoy the fire pit and watch a gorgeous sunset. You'll get a great night's sleep in the bedrooms, furnished with new beds, and high quality bedding. This is a family friendly home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer.

The home is on a paved road, and there are two boat docks within one mile, making access to the lake easy for your boating and fishing enjoyment. No boat? No problem! Enjoy fishing off our private dock, or launch a kayak for a paddle around this scenic lake. The area offers many other opportunities, as well. You can hike, bike, or swim at one of the two nearby sandy beaches. A playground and disc golf are also located in the nearby park. A beautiful lake front 9 hole golf course is just a few miles away. There are also fall and winter activities, including hunting , ice fishing and snowmobiling.

For those who want to experience fishing at its best, we have a local guide available. He grew up on Roy lake, and knows all the secret fishing spots in the area. For information on rates, and to schedule your half, or full day of fishing, contact us.

Come, relax, and enjoy all this area has to offer. Or do nothing but listen to the water and feel the breeze.

This was my first time using Vrbo and it was fairly easy to navigate through the process (without too much help from my daughter). Roy Lake Landing has a good floor plan for privacy of bedrooms. The beds very comfortable. We made good use of the completely fitted out kitchen. Good view of the good lake from either upper or lower deck. We should have stayed two more days! Jim

Friends fishing trip

We had 6 of us on a 3 day fishing trip. The home was amazing and had everything we needed for a great trip. I would recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful deck on the lake side and a dock to tie up to when you need to stop while you’re on Roy Lake. Very clean and a great neighbor Charlie across the road that is willing to help you with anything.

Beautiful views

The house was very clean. Beds were comfortable, I would suggest bringing your own pillow. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and a few extras (shampoo, bar soap) in case you forgot something. The kitchen was stocked with the exception of a meat thermometer. We did bring our own salt and pepper. On the water. There is not steps down to the water and the dock was already pulled so we could not access the water. There was a great walking area near the house. Contact with the host was very easy!

Real nice cabin & location. Good dock, fish cleaning facility close & many close lakes to fish when you don’t want to fish Roy Lake. Only negative; dock need padding on lead edges & mooring sites on side of dock, plus two crank handles need to be removed or totally covered. All can cause damage to our expensive boats.

Great lakeside cabin!

Beautiful location and space. Lots of flies to deal with (mostly outside), but that’s normal for fall in South Dakota. Perfect for anyone looking for a lakeside getaway. Our group of 5 was very comfortable for a long weekend. Hosts were very helpful and property is well-maintained.

Great home to enjoy lake life ! Inside was very clean & had everything we needed. Covered porch was nice & large table was a good gathering spot for meals hanging out etc. We brought our boat so the dock was a big plus, but dock needed to be lower to be usable.

Comfortable lake cabin

We have stayed here several times now and always wish we had more time for vacation! The cabin is well furnished and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with pots & pans. There is even a griddle & crockpot . We enjoy this cabin very much. It is starting to show some common wear from being used over the years.

Beautiful home and well maintained property

The home is absolutely beautiful and has everything one would need for a weekend at the lake. The washer and dryer came in handy for us, and we really enjoyed the abundance of towels. I didn’t have to worry about bringing a thing! The beds were comfortable and the view spectacular. This is a well thought out and lovely property, we will return!
