'Good'

'We have stayed at this location multiple times over the past 3 years. I have to say that this stay could be our last. The elevator stunk. There was a part roll of toilet paper in our room. When I enquired about getting another roll I was told I would have to wait for housekeeping to come in because the front desk staff didn’t have access to it. Breakfast was the worst i have seen at this location. There were no tea bags and when I asked I was told they didn’t have any!?!? How do you run out...

'We stayed in an oversized king room on the top floor. The room was larger than anticipated and a nice design. Our floor was very quiet. The only negative was trying to get hot water at the tap. The shower eventually got warm/hot but only when it was pushed to the hottest setting.'

'Location worked, the problem was…. Full size bed and the bathroom sink appeared to be an afterthought. Never seen a smaller area for a bathroom sink and it was behind an open door….. very very poor design.'

'I had a room on the ground floor.easy access to the fitness center, laundry room and swimming pool.'

'Bed bugs'

'relaxing and quiet'

'Clean, easy parking, next to Cindy restaurant. Great food.'

'The sand screen has a big hole. The bathroom door is broken. There was nothing but the towels. The staff in the front desk is not friendly at all'

'There was mold in the room and on the shower curtain. The ice machine didn't work. And I went down to the grab and go breakfast before 8:00 am and nothing was there.'

'The property had just been renovated. However the construction dirt and dust was never cleaned up just wet mopped over. The bathroom door did not close, shower was dirty. The main elevator was non-functional. The outside doors on the side of the building did not close properly and anyone could walk right in anytime, which we did numerous times the other door down by the elevator that worked was propped open with a big piece of wood. The fire dept hook-up was disconnected. Did not feel safe at...

'Very old building. Some cobwebs. Carpet was pretty dirty.'

'Kids loved the waterpark and mini golf course - was a great way to bribe them to come hiking all morning in Starved Rock then have fun activities to come back to. Rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Some facilities could use some renovation (some arcade machines didn’t work, showers were a bit dated, locker rooms at the waterpark had some broken locks or missing toiletries, room could use some extra outlets, etc.) but nothing crazy or super concerning. We had a great time,...

'Room was clean, staff helpful, not much of a breakfast'

'The whole place was extremely nice, very nice welcoming staff. Only complaint was that the pool heater wasn’t working correctly.'

'Its oke if you set your expectations low'
