Enjoy beautiful sunset views from our spacious deck overlooking the #5 green and fairway of the Robert Trent Jones designed Madeline Island Golf Club.
Our cute cottage on the golf course is located on a quiet private lane
Please note: our cottage has satellite Tv in the living room.

Our cottage is 875 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and sleeps 4.
Both bedrooms have new Serta 12 inch memory foam queen size beds
Bathroom #1 has a bathtub with shower. Bath #2 has a shower
Sooth tired muscles with our natural cedar one person sauna and shower unit.
The kitchen is equipped with utensils, pots and pans, dishes and glassware including wine glasses and cocktail glasses.
A coffeemaker, toaster and crockpot are also included.
Make frozen pizzas with our countertop pizza oven
Guests are welcome to enjoy one of the books from our library shelves during your stay.
Enjoy our sun dappled deck furnished with cushions and loungers.
Deck is equipped with a Weber charcoal grill.
In the rare event of rain feel free to move into our gazebo located adjacent to the deck.
No trip to the island is complete without spending time at the Town Park beach. The beach is a beautiful stretch of sand with a breathtaking inland lagoon. We offer our guests the use of our 17 foot canoe. We provide paddles and life jackets for adults and children free of charge. The canoe is racked at the beach. Please be aware that 2 adults are needed to lift and replace the canoe from its rack.

We provide starter supplies of the following:
Paper towels, toilet tissue, bath soap.
We also supply kitchen towels and dish soap.
Bath towels and hand towels are supplied for the number of guests registered.
Please be aware that Wisconsin law does not allow us to provide any consumables including spices and salt and pepper.

Our property is a smoke free property.

We have stayed here in August for several years. It's a great spot! It's quiet and you can enjoy nice views of the golf course, but also very convenient to the town, marina, Joni's Beach etc. It was a little too warm and humid this time, but the AC in the living room and ceiling fans made it comfortable for sleeping. We'll be back!

Overall the stay was great! The owners were very responsive with my questions about the area and best places to watch fireworks - which was such a sweet bonus! The only downside is that the house could use a good deep clean. There was several spider webs inside, some bugs crawling around, and lots of dust built up on most of the decorative furniture. But the main areas like the kitchen and table were clean, bedding and linens supplied were also clean and fresh so we were not too bothered. We watched the 4th of July fireworks over the golf course and had the best private view! It was great!

A wonderful stay! A little far to be walkable to downtown LaPointe but a very easy drive. Loved the view from the cottage and how comfortable we felt. Would definitely stay here again.

Tower cottage on the golf course

We have stayed multiple times in this cute cottage. It’s great for us (mom, dad, adult daughter). We especially like how it feels like it’s out in the woods but it’s also walking distance to LaPointe! Also there’s plenty of shade & nice golf course views.

Nice place in a great location

We had a great time at the cottage. The location on the golf course and just a short bike ride outside of town was perfect. Lots of nice touches like a large deck, 2-story observation tower and cable TV. The place was clean enough but not spotless and could use some additional kitchen supplies and onsite laundry. All in all, a nice place that we would stay at again.

Perfect family rental

We already want to go back! Everything about this cute cottage was great, the location (close enough to "town" but far enough out to not feel crowded), the relaxed feel inside and the extras that made the stay enjoyable and easy. We had access to a canoe and a sauna. The beds and bedding were comfortable. With small children this place was perfect, we had space to roam but it still had a neighborhood feel.

Loved our stay on the island!

We throughly enjoyed our stay on Madeline Island! The cottage was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed! It is located on a quiet dead end road, yet was only a short few minute drive to town. The 2 story gazebo was such a hit with our 5 year old, and the view of the 5th green of the golf course made it even more of a unique experience! Loved that the cottage had a sauna and a jet tub to relax at the end of the night! It was also not far from the state and town park, about a 10 minute drive or so. I give this property 5 stars, it was the perfect experience!

Family reunion

Madeline Island is a summer home to several members of our family and has been for over a century! Since we no longer own property, renting is the next best thing. We saw many family members and boated around the islands. The stay was wonderful Thank you! My biggest comment/concern is the bathroom floors were not very clean nor were the window openings nor was the deck. The deck furniture could all use major cleaning as well. I’m sorry for the cleanliness report yet I believe it’s very important. The cabin is nicely laid out; we all had a good time. How about adding some board games and a variety of card games? Thank you, again, for the stay. We will probably be back next year! Anne and Richard Fritz

Perfect Location for Us

Cute cottage overlooking the golf course in the middle of everything we wanted to get to. Love biking the roads and the trails, could bike into town within 10 minutes. Cozy home on a peaceful road.
