It’s our third time coming to this hotel.
The previous times per year it was under Hyatt Corporation and now it’s Marriott so I don’t know why, but things has changed downwards… let me start with the breakfast. We used to have way more things and now it feels like that they cut a lot of them and also before we didn’t have to pay for the breakfast. It was included with the room charge and now it’s additional cost for profit, of course!
Many times at breakfast the very basic scrambled egg was over and they have to make more which people was waiting in line just for that, and just overall it feels like the breakfast doesn’t even worth the additional charge that they are requesting for it. Second thing the clear shower curtain was yellow and filthy and looks like they didn’t replace it for years.
Every time we had to take a shower, I didn’t even wanna touch it cause it looks so dirty.
Overall, the smell in the room and on the hallway on the way to the elevators smell like mold from humidity.
And the reason why I’m sharing these things right now is because we’ve been there twice before and he didn’t was like that !
The good thing about this hotel is that it’s in a good area for our opinion. If you do rent a car because it’s closer to all of the nice beaches in La Paz and it’s kind of in the middle.
Takes about 10 minutes to get to the Malecon and 15-25 min to get to Balandra Beach and Playa Pichilingue.
The pool is small, but nice overall. The gym is very small
