Gîte Le Petit Promenant: Private Terrace, Garden & Wi-Fi in La Bazoque

Enjoy peace and quiet at the end of a small lane among pastures, perfect for walks and hikes, as well as cultural visits: Saint-Lô stud farm, Bayeux Tapestry, D-Day beaches, Cerisy-la-Forêt Abbey, Balleroy Castle, Castillon gardens, and Marcy mill. A car is very convenient for exploring the region, but beautiful cycling and mountain biking routes also start from the gîte.



This small countryside gîte, between Bayeux and Saint-Lô, offers stunning valley views, shade from a cherry tree, privacy, and tranquility. In summer, you can pitch a tent for older children. Please note, the staircase is not yet secured for young children.



Set in a former bakery, the gîte features a living room with wood stove (wood provided), a fully equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher, one bedroom, and a bathroom with bathtub. Small outdoor spaces at the front and back let you enjoy the sun and birdsong, morning and evening.



The gîte, garden, and terrace are entirely for your use. It adjoins a house that will be renovated later; you will be alone on the property, except for a few cows grazing nearby. Depending on the season, enjoy raspberries, cherries, or plums from the garden. We are available via the booking platform for any questions or needs.
