'The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre. At the check-in, the staff asked if we had any allergies or special needs but he didn't provide anything extra at the breakfast... Check-in was horrible. We couldn't pay with our credit card or we had to pay a 15% extra fee. After a discussing of 1 hour We had to pay in cash.'

'Petit hôtel plein de charme, un peu vieillot mais très fonctionnel, calme et propre. Idéalement situé, à quelques minutes à pied de la rue principale. Restaurant sur place et plusieurs options à proximité. Le personnel de la réception était aux petits soins — mention spéciale à Nachos, qui m’a beaucoup aidé lors d’un petit imprévu. Excellents conseils sur les activités à faire dans la région.'

'Konke is about 5 minutes from El Calafate downtown, offering quick, direct access to all downtown offers. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is continental, with an excellent assortment of pastries and good coffee. It has two floors, but no lift to second floor. Would select Konke again if we ever return to El Calafate. '

The breakfast is a bit more modest, typical for Argentina, but good enough to start the day. To my surprise, the hotel offers a laundry service. A bag of 5 kilos of clothing for (American) $20. "Very welcome from the start we came in at the reception. Nice excursion offert. The only thing that can be better is the service at the breakfast. A lot of things weren't filled. We saw the staff with 3 persons sitting and having their own food. When asked for what we missed, the faced looked bored and only stood up like a minute later. It wassen't that late during breakfast so is wasn't the end off breakfast yet. My advise would be to look constantly what is missing at the breakfast buffet so guests don't miss anything. "
