'Wished we'd known ahead of time, the hotel was hosting a Cosplay weekend and while like minded folks were heavily mingling doing their cosplay thing, it was not a place for me. But locked in, the place was everything but peaceful. Break fast was semi normal attire and very good as expected, but the social hour was a bit awkward and the bar tenders need to wipe down their bar more frequently. Sticky is not inviting. 'This was a nice place to stay, especially for the price! Check-in was very easy, staff seemed nice, the room was nice, and we really enjoyed the pool & breakfast! The only thing that was a little concerning is we found some hair on some parts of the bedding and in the shower/bath. That did make us question how well the place was cleaned, but it looked good besides that. The place does kind of give an "outdated" feel & we noticed the elevator was extremely squeaky as it went up and down as well...

'The property was very quiet and peaceful which we totally enjoyed. We tried to use the hot tub in the Satin room, and to our disappointment, found that it was not working. We really didn’t meet any of the staff except for the lady who brought breakfast to our room. Breakfast was very good. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. The only other complaint is that we found the bed rather uncomfortable.'
