Very nice cozy boutique hotel on a beautiful location. I've been to several places in Thailand and this was by far one of the most stunning views I've seen. The hotel grounds are very nice and you feel like you're in a small rainforest. The "standard" rooms are a bit small, but still have a very big outside shower and bath. Staff is attentive and helpful, but I didn't experience it as "exceptional". What I found a bit strange is the fact that you get 1-set of beach towels per day. You can get new ones, but it would be way more convenient if they were available at the beach. The beach is very nice, with AMAZING views. There are no chairs/beds because they're apparently forbidden, but the bean bags are decently comfortable. The pool is nice, but it's more on the inside of the hotel. One of the biggest annoyances was the pricing of the food and drinks. The hotel is in a very secluded area with absolutely nothing in close proximity. That means you're forced to eat at the hotel. The view from the restaurant is very nice. However, the food is very expensive for thai standards and not necessarily exceptionally good. Additionally, you don't even get water with your meal! The only water you get in the hotel are 2 glass bottles per day. That means you're basically forced to buy water in their own shop. The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to Ao Nang and Krabi town a couple times per week for a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend making use of it and eating there.
