Met de auto ben je er in 10 minuten (rechte weg langs de kust tot in het centrum). Nea Kios is verder weinig te doen. Tegenover het hotel zit wel een goed restaurant dat zeer populair is bij de lokale bevolking. Het strand bij Nea Kios is niet aantrekkelijk, hiervoor kun je beter naar Keveri gaan.
