The Sea Glass Cottage offers an unforgettable Garden Isle vacation. This custom-designed Hawaiian style Cottage is located just steps from Poipu Beach. The 2-bedroom, 2 bath Sea Glass Cottage graciously combines the beauty and simplicity of a classic Hawaiian home with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The cottage melds seamlessly with the historic neighborhood and the adjacent ancient Hawaiian Village. Its airy and open island style mixes old Hawaii and modern luxury.

From the minute you walk in the door at the Sea Glass Cottage you will know you made the right decision. The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with its large Lanai and beautifully landscaped yard. It's definitely a welcomed treasure to the Poipu Beach area.

The home offers two master suites with large walk-in showers, plush king beds, ample closets, smart TVs and access to the double outdoor shower. Step out through the indoor shower to the outdoor shower to shower under the star filled Hawaiian sky. Come spend time on the spacious covered lanai, which opens up to the indoor spaces through a folding glass wall that allows the indoor and outdoor spaces to truly become one. Eat at the outdoor dining table and relax in the cool trade winds while catching a glimpse of our beautiful Hawaiian waters or watching the widescreen TV in the living room. The cottage’s gourmet kitchen is equipped with a gas range, Kitchen Aid appliances, granite countertops, open shelving and a Keurig for your favorite hot drinks. Enjoy the convenience of a full laundry, which includes a large capacity washer and dryer and a deep laundry room sink with ample countertop space.

Whether inside or outside, the cottage is designed to provide relaxation and comfort. Ceiling fans enhance the island trade winds in keeping the cottage cool. The abundant landscaping highlights the scents and beauty of Hawaiian plants. Just steps from Poipu Beach, guests begin the day watching the sunrise from the lanai while enjoying your morning cup of coffee, followed by a day of beach activities and ending the day with drinks on the lanai and steaks on the outdoor grill. All beach amenities including beach chairs, boogie boards, a cooler, a beach wagon and beach towels for your day at the beach are provided for your use.

Whether you are on Kauai to see the Humpback whales, to relax on our beautiful beaches, snorkel the calm waters of Poipu Beach, or to simply escape, the Sea Glass Cottage provides the ideal Hawaiian vacation spot. Along with being a block to the beach and to Brennecke’s restaurant, the cottage is also located a short distance to Kalapaki Joe’s Sports Bar, the Hyatt Regency/Shipwreck Beach, the Poipu Shopping center, Starbucks, numerous other restaurants and the Poipu Kai greenbelt walking path. Tour boats to Napali Coast are 20 minutes away in Port Allen as well as Kauai Coffee’s coffee farm. The Kiahuna and Grand Hyatt golf courses offer challenges for any golfer. Five minutes away, the Kukuiula Shopping Center provides upscale restaurants and shopping for art, keepsakes and clothing. Local farmer’s markets are held in the area and highlight local produce and crafts. Nature lovers will love seeing turtles and Monk seals on the beach and the beautiful arboreatums on the island.

The sea glass cottage was an absolute dream. So welcoming and comfortable. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Listening to the waves on the lanai , enjoying stunning landscape. Location was a great , walking distance to so many things . We will definitely be back.

This was the second time we rented this cottage. It’s a great cozy cottage about a half block from Brennecke Beach. The location is fantastic, it is very well equipped including lots of beach stuff, and the hosts are very responsive. Overall, it’s a wonderful cottage and we would rent it again!

The rental is in a perfect location. We literally walked out the door and were at the beach in minutes. The place was very clean, well stocked and roomy. The bedrooms had AC, but the living area lacked AC and it was HOT.. however I am sure it usually is not that warm most of the time in Kauai. Loved the outdoor living space and the outdoor showers! We would rent again!

He had a fantastic time staying at his beautiful and very clean cottage, both inside and outside. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed. Truly enjoyed having the AC in the two bedrooms.We saw turtles and seals almost every day at Poipu Beach, which is about a 3-minute walk from the cottage.

Another fantastic stay in Kauai and specifically at Sea Glass Cottage! We look forward to each and every stay over the last few years as we have confidence that the home will be the reliably comfortable and convenient base for our adventures but mostly as a place to relax as a family. Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The whole home was stocked with all the needed amenities from kitchen appliances and tools to beach-going gear. The outdoor shower was fun perk, and the east facing lanai offered the perfect spot for relaxing in the afternoon shade. Communication was seamless throughout our stay when we had a question or received some weather-related updates. We can’t wait for another opportunity to return to this amazing home in paradise!

This place was AWESOME. Somehow it was even better than the pictures show. We opened the wall of doors every day and loved the in-door, out-door experience. Turtles on the beach at dusk, monk seal on the beach which was just a short walk away. Quiet dead-end street. Just perfect. No missing amenities. Love, love, loved it!

5 stars start to finish. Beth and Tina are wonderful hosts, and were accommodating and helpful when our plans and dates changed. The home itself is also perfect. We loved the outdoor spaces where we could relax and read for hours, enjoying the breezes. The location made it so convenient for our favorite beach, less than a 5 min walk to Brenneckes.

We were very impressed by the house. Very clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds and pillows were very nice. It was hot and humid but the AC in the bedrooms helped. The kitchen was so good that it made me feel like it was my own kitchen at home. Everything worked perfectly and finally the location so close to the beach made it great !

Great home

We stayed 10 nights at sea glass cottage and it only got better with each night. Terrific location. You can hear the ocean crashing in the quiet at night. The Lanai is great for meals reading and quiet contemplation. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities and the beach chairs umbrellas and wagon make things easy. Highly recommended for a Poipu vacation. Would stay here again when return. Thank u Tina and Beth for being great hosts!
