'Very nice new property that is good for solo travellers. The room layout without a traditional bathroom is odd, especially with the towels across the room from the shower. The hotel is well-appointed and the restaurant is good but very expensive. The neighbourhood seems to have fallen on hard times, but not unlike many American downtowns. '

'- pros: a bidet!, mountain view is nice, the condo is spacious, it's a studio, but you don't feel like you sleep in the kitchen. The location is amazing - close to Ala Moana park, car rental in the building, luggage storage and ABC across the street. No physical door key was very convenient. - cons: cockroaches in the kitchen, had to keep all edibles and clean dishes in the fridge. Cracked paint, not sparkling clean. Bathtub could use some scrubbing. '

'This studio was perfect for me. It was found to be clean and the linen smelled fresh and clean. It had secure parking and entry to the building. The ABC store was just 1/2 a block for morning coffee and other essentials. There are numerous restaurants, stores and bars within walking distance. The king size bed was really comfy. 'Our main requirement was to have a one bedroom and a kitchen, The Hilton Hawaiian village met these requirements. Safety and easy beach access was another positive as well. Certain towers definitely need an update, their age is showing. The biggest negative is that if you're stsying at their "Grand Vacations" rooms, then their "timeshare" sales people will hound you into a presentation.
