'I stayed at Southey House for two nights and it was a very nice stay. The room was clean and spacious and had a refrigerator and water, coffee and tea. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, oats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The bed was very comfortable and had a nice and varm duvet. The room however was a bit cold the whole time (in beginning of July), so when staying in the room it was best to stay in bed. The guesthouse is located in a safe and there...

'This was a fantastic find. So happy we decided to stay here. Excellent accommodation and wonderful host. Could not ask for better. Highly recommend if you are in the area. '

'Very central, close to shopping and restaurants'

'Best place to stay in Durban, such a peaceful and calm environment.'

'Eagle Wind Manor provides charming and quaint accommodation in a gracious old house at the top of Botha’s Hill - convenient for both Hillcrest and Kearsney College. The beds were amazing - great mattresses and pillows, better than many top hotels I’ve stayed in. 'KZN Park View Guest House is an affordable option in the Durban area. The room was clean, the shower was hot and had great pressure and there were a few lovely cafes walking distance.'

'Easy and friendly check in '

'Loved it. The staff members were really great, the highlight of my stay. '

'Check-in was horrendous. The toilet was not cleaned. The TV did not work. The aircon remote was missing and the lights would not turn off.'

'Great locationIt was a good relaxed and quite stay. Host is welcoming and very helpful. I certainly will be booking for my next stay in the city. I can’t rate excellent, as there is always a room for improvement. I recommend Mackaya Guest Hiuse! '

'There was nothing LUX about it. We were in an outside room. We had to walk up a flight with a rail and then up another flight of metal stair to get to the room. On opening the door we were met with the overwhelming smell of a deoderiser that was actually hiding the damo smell. The room was clean but the bathroom had a chipped basin, cracked floor & wall tilea. The shower cubicle was coming loose from the wall. There was mold on the tiles and door resessers and ceiling. Ventalation was poor in...

'Bizafrika is een hele fijne plek voor B&B. Alles is goed en officieel geregeld. Wanneer dingen verkeerd ingericht zijn is het voor hun geen enkel probleem om dat meteen op te lossen. Echt een aanrader'
