'What a charming hostess was Joan & her entire staff. Daniels cooking was superb & under not the easiest of conditions.We felt very close to nature here.Having booked through Expedia we had no tour operators & so did all our liaison with the lodge re transfer from Kisoro air strip & back, Gorilla permits, village tours etc. Joan we will never forget you & your beautiful family.My wife cried with emotion when she saw the Gorillas. A life changing experience for us in so many ways'

'Absolutely amazing stay at embogo lodges! Everything about this place is 10/10. It’s an underpriced gem in ishasha. It’s safe, the staff are all amazing and the food is outstanding. They also arranged us a game drive on the morning for a great price where we seen tree lions and elephants to name a few!'

They only have one choice and asked 20$ for it and you really don’t have other options in the area. They let you pay also the water…the road to come is very bad also. I’d not stay again'
