'The property was in the midst of some renovations, but it was comfortable, clean, and the hosts were quick to answer any questions. The check-in process was clear and smooth, and the location next to a lovely tavern and just down the street from a market was ideal. But the best feature of all was the gorgeous river view from the balcony. I would never get tired of waking up to that.'

'Beautiful Location. Clean room, staff was very helpful. Food options where very limited.'

'It’s a cool space but it’s filthy. There is dust and cobwebs everywhere. The windows need a cleaning. Sorry I sat on the porch last night as my cost is dirty from the dirt on the rocking chair. I read in reviews that some folks had croissants outside their door in the am. We did not have that experience. Our room had a tub with a handheld shower and no privacy. I was either a friend, not a partner. It a nice location right near the waterfront. Give the place a good cleaning.'

'Awesome'

'Laat ik beginnen met het enige wat niet goed was, dat was het extra (derde) uitklap bank/bed. Comfort van extra het bed is slecht. Nadeel is dat er geen raam open kan in de kamer. Verder een erg mooi hotel. De kamers zijn ruim en mooi ingericht. Fijn dat er een complete keuken aanwezig is. Ook is er een mooi zwembad. Hotel ligt naast winkels en shopping mall. Dus goed voor shoppers.'

'This was our second stay here. As soon as I drove up the drive and walked through the door I was reminded of the zen atmosphere. Looks beautiful, smells divine. This is not an over-the-top, ornate type of property. Rather it is elegant and “modern traditional”. Same with the rooms. Well designed and uber comfortable. Another plus: no kids! The restaurant food was wonderful, the staff so nice, a nice mix of friendly and formal. Overall, it feels like an escape while being less than a block from...

'Be aware it is a classic 2-story “motor lodge” with doors opening on to the parking lot, but if you are okay with that the rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, and the staff is super helpful. Would stay there again.'

'Warm welcome, very nice breakfast, rooms clean and neat. Breakfast together with all guest at the same time which lead to interesting conversations.'

'I have already opened a case with Expedia and have not heard back- I contacted the hotel directly Hello, I have arrived at the property and am disappointed to find that it does not match the listing photos or description. The accommodations appear significantly more worn and less clean than represented online. In addition, I did not receive the check-in instructions with the access code, and when I rang the bell for assistance, the hostess was rude and dismissive. Because there are no...

'Location in downtown Woodstock was great- parking was easy. Loved the rooftop patio - great place to enjoy a coffee. Rooms were very nice and large.'

'One female receptionist on duty spoiled our initial experience to the point of no return. We called ahead for early check in availability and were told that it would cost $50 per hour. We said we'd drive up and see what time we got there. We were there at ~ 1:45 pm. I asked what time we could check in and without even checking the availability she told me abruptly " Check in is at 3:00pm.!" I checked online, there were 7 identical rooms to mine vacant. Continental breakfast.....The...

'Excellent hotel all around. Pleasant and accomodating staff - everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and polite. The hotel is recently updated and very clean - lobby, hallways, staircases, bathrooms, our room. It was actually THE cleanest hotel we ever stayed at. Breakfast very nice, 2 protein choices, fresh fruit, etc. Location is great too - close to everything. Definetly recommend.'

'We thought that the setting was very nice but we had some issues. Not all of the blinds closed. The soap/body wash/shampoo dispensers were faulty and we had to remove the dispensers in order to use. Couldn’t regulate the heat and were either cold or hot. There was a family with children above us and there was constant thumping from above. The construction of the place did not provide for adequate noise mitigation. I think if we had stayed one night,or even two, it might not have been as...

'The breakfast could have been better.'
