The coastal village of Brancaster (5 miles) is renowned for its fresh seafood and championship golf course overlooking salt marshes and the sea. You’ll be spoilt for choice if you love a beach, with wide golden sands, rolling dunes and kitesurfing at Old Hunstanton (7 miles). Wells-next-the-Sea (11 miles) also charms visitors with its picturesque harbour, colourful beach huts and vast beach backed by fragrant pine woods. Days out may include spotting wildlife at RSPB Titchwell Marsh, (5 miles) watching the famous wader spectacular at Snettisham Nature Reserve (10 miles) or admiring fields of fragrant Norfolk Lavender (6 miles).
