4 bedroom beach home with added sofa bed, ocean view, swimming pool, Jacuzzi

Hale Lanui is located across the street from the ocean and has sweeping unobstructed views of the ocean and sunsets. This two story 2700 SF home is located on a residential street and has a swimming pool (lots of beach towels) and Jacuzzi for total enjoyment. There are outdoor areas to enjoy both sun or shade.

There are 4 bedrooms with king beds in two (one upstairs bedroom and one downstairs bedroom), two bedrooms have long boy twins which can be made up as kings if desired. We also have a queen size sofa bed in the game room upstairs.

3 large bathrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs, great open kitchen with lots of cookware, dishes and appliances. Sub Zero refrigerator in the kitchen and an additional refrigerator in the mud/pool room. There are two washers & 2 dryers, clothesline and the outdoor dining area will seat 12 nicely. Chaise lounges are by the pool and also on the upper deck for your enjoyment.

Flat screen TV in the living room and one in the upstairs game room. A/C in living room and every bedroom . Ceiling fans throughout. Maid service is provided before and after your stay. Local and long distance calls within the US and Canada are no charge. There is a safe located on each level of the home to place valuable items in and the home has a security system. Secured cable WiFi connection is provided.

Hale Lanui is located within 5 minutes of a sandy beach, 5 minute walk to Starbucks and 10 minute walk to the Foodland grocery store. A wonderful Farmer's Market with fresh produce is located 2 blocks away the the library is within walking distance also.

The onsite manager lives in the small home on the street and greets you on arrival to share with you all of the amenities and features of Hale Lanui and is available during your stay, if needed.

Provided are all cleaning supplies, soaps , laundry detergent and paper products. The spice cabinet is very complete if you enjoy cooking.

South Maui, the area where Hale Lanui is located has golf, tennis (public courts next door at the Kalama Park), whale watching, in season, water sports and walking.

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Kihei VRBO. The home was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of bedding, towels and the kitchen was fully equipped. Water pressure and temperature were good. There is a covered patio area downstairs, just off the kitchen and an open lanai upstairs. The family / game room upstairs has a pool table and a variety of games, books and puzzles. The home is situated at the edge of a park with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed the daily traffic of walkers, runners, cyclists and soccer players in the park. Our entire family was comfortable here: four adult couples and a toddler. Be aware there is a pool and a spiral staircase to be attentive to with small children. There are several food and shopping options within walking distance. The onsite property manager is located a next door. She was readily available and helpful, but never intrusive. We all agreed the house is even better than the photos. We would gladly rent this home again.

Good Family Rental

This house is the most well-stocked of any we have ever rented. The setting is on a lightly used park that is on the ocean. We saw many whales in early January. It’s convenient to Kihei but just far enough away to be out of the bustle. The property manager was excellent and quickly responded to our needs. The immediate beach is rocky but sandy a little to the south. Overall- spectacular!

Maui Family Vacation

This home and property was amazing!!! Our kids absolutely loved the pool and everyone enjoyed the pool table. Being next to the park was perfect for the kids. We stayed at this beach front property with a large family group- it was great. The location was amazing- we spent most of the time in the large balcony just outside the kitchen-enjoying a wonderful view of the ocean, gorgeous sunsets. The house had ample space for 9 people in our group and the kitchen was wonderful-fully stocked with utensils and cutlery. The pool was great- the kids enjoyed it a lot. The beds were comfortable. Proximity to tennis courts and the park next to the house- all added to options for the kids to have a good time. Overall- we had a good stay.

We had 7 adults staying at the property. The house had beautiful, well maintained grounds and the location was very close to cafes, shops and the beach. Heaven on Earth

This house and location were very close to heaven! We were a family group of 7 with one 3 year old. Everyone was comfortable and happy. The location is incredible with a big beautiful park just next door and the ocean a few feet away. The manager lives next door and was johnny on the spot when we needed some help. Overall great property, with amazing view & we saw turtles daily. The home was clean with beautiful artwork but could use some TLC and furniture updates. The park next door was concerning in the evening due to homeless that appear to live there. Nothing happened but something we did not expect that on a dream vacation to Maui.

Perfect Location Made Perfect Family Vacation

Beautiful, spacious home adjoining a park, overlooking the ocean and a 5 minute walk to restaurants, bars, groceries and tons of activities. Breathtaking sunsets, private pool, hot tub, and the best equipped rental we’ve ever had. We charcoaled by the pool or cooked daily in the beautiful kitchen. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, tennis rackets, poker chips. a pool table - our group, ages 17-71, we’re always entertained. We booked snorkeling, rented bikes, enjoyed zip lining and several beaches and had the vacation of a lifetime! Highly recommend this home!!

No need to look for another property in Maui!

Great property in a great location. Plenty of space for our extended family of 6. Used the swimming pool and hot tub numerous times during the week, and the pool table during quiet periods. Ate meals on the front porch and greeted those walking past, with a few commenting on how they would love to stay at the property. We also got to see pedal bikers passing by in the evening with an LED light show and music. As others have mentioned park users leave their cars at the end of the driveway on the road but it never restricted us from getting in or out. Large grocery store and a number of restaurants are no more than a 1 min drive / 5 min walk away. Easy to stretch out your legs with a walk along the boardwalk or passing a ball around the park grounds, which are right outside the front door.

Great experience!!

My family and I had a wonderful week in Maui at this beautiful house! We loved having a space we could all relax at that didn’t require us to go somewhere else like we would have if we’d stayed in hotel rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals, the patio had a wonderful view, and we loved playing pool together upstairs! Jessica was wonderful and answered all our questions. The only two minor complaints we had was that there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, which was mostly taken care of with bug spray and that there were often cars parked at the end of the driveway in a no park zone. That latter cannot be controlled by owners of the property though. It’s a beautiful spot and lots of people wanted to walk along the coast, watch the sunset, or play pick up games in the space right next to the house. We had such a great time!! Thank you!!

Peaceful Retreat

Our stay at this incredible house in Kihei far exceeded expectations. The location was perfect - centrally located on the island and within east walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space. I highly recommend this property and would rent again if I ever have the opportunity to return to Maui.

Fabulous Family Trip

A truly great homebase for any family looking to enjoy all Maui has to offer while still making room in their stay for lots of down-time. We truly enjoyed our lazy days hanging out on the ocean- and park-view lanai, as well as the pool and hot tub. We also appreciated the central location, which made it our daytrips out to Lahaina, South Maui, and Hana easy. The on-site caretaker Jessica was also a gem, helping us quickly when we managed to lock ourselves out of a bathroom! A truly fantastic place to stay on Maui.
