'Very disappointing experience — I would not stay here again We booked Paradise Lakes Motel through Expedia, but when we arrived late at night after driving from Melbourne, there was nobody at reception. We called the motel’s landline and the mobile number displayed at the property, but neither was answered. We couldn’t find another place to stay at that hour, so we had to wait until 6 am to check in. We then left at 11 am to continue driving to Canberra. The owner did not apologise or offer an...

'I’ve stayed here numerous times. Comfy bed, good shower and room overlooks the pool. No hairdryer in the room but just ask for one at reception. Toaster in the room but no cutlery or plates/bowls. Reception staff very friendly.'

'Very good central location close to clubs & shops. Large room with comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Bathroom in need of a deeper clean, some minor tile repairs and a soap dish in the shower but good hot water and water pressure and generally acceptable overall. Bathroom sink needs a note warning that the hot water gets very hot very quickly in case of a child using it and possibly getting burnt. Overall we had a nice comfortable stay.'

'Honestly this was one of the cleanest motels I’ve ever stayed in, perfect for a short night stay. Staff was really helpful and the room was clean with comfy beds.'

'Room itself was quite good. Bathroom definitely needed work. Overall good for a night for the price'

'Grote en schone kamer, comfotabel bed'

'Easy to find nice and clean and lovely pool'

'Shower head would not remain in position, soap in shower was empty… everything else was excellent'

'Cabins were okay! Bed were very uncomfortable could feel the springs in the mattress. Plates/cutlery were dirty No tongs to cook'

'Maintenance in the room requires a closer look to keep up. Both of the electric blankets weren’t operating. So was one of the bedside light was out too. Otherwise the location is reasonably central to the hospital and all. Staff was friendly.'

'Property still felt brand new, undercover parking, short drive into town, no onsite restaurant. Person on the front desk when we arrived was exceptional. Love the auto night light in the bathroom!'

'Will stay again'

'The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience hassle-free. I’d happily stay here again.'
