Best Condo on Marathon

We cannot say enough nice things about this condo, the pool, the beach, the pier or the sunrises. This is an excellent setup for a family looking to entirely relax. The views are outstanding. You cannot get much closer to the water. The pool and hot tub were very clean. Fishing from the pier every morning proved eventful. And, just a 2 minute stroll to Sunset Beach each night to watch the show. Ideal!!!

Total Relaxation

The unit was exactly as described, only better. The breeze thru all of the sliding doors can’t be captured in a photo. Peaceful and relaxing. The boats coming and going were very cool, maybe causing a bit of “boat envy”. Definitely the perfect getaway from our hectic, high stress jobs, not to mention the cold.

Beautiful condo with a spectacular view

We had a wonderful stay at Rich’s place. The condo was beautiful just as described and the view is just spectacular. The property was very low key & quiet, which was perfect for us. The master bed was very comfortable. The property manager is onsite & very attentive. I wound definitely recommend and look forward to booking again in the future.

The perfect spot!!

We loved everything about our stay. Check in was simple, the condo had everything we could need and more, the views were incredible, and the property was perfect. Our family of 4 could’ve stayed forever. We loved the location and were able to visit marathon, key largo, Islamorada, and Key West with ease. The pool was perfect for the kids on the days that the tide was high and on other days we spent time on the property beach. Beds were comfortable and the recliner in the living room was everyone’s favorite spot (besides the balcony of course). Thank you Jeff for all of your recommendations, the guide and your quick communication. We will definitely be back! For anyone visiting, be sure to get dinner at Florida Keys Steak and Lobster House. Get the Wesley roll, yum!!! During the day visit Castaway Waterfront. Great food, unique story and service + they have a ton of manatees out back!

Stunning Views

We enjoyed our stay in this well appointed condo with phenomenal views. The sunrise over the water and afternoon shaded balcony were wonderful. Close to restaurants and attractions, yet located in a quiet area. The owner and property manager checked in to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.

Great Trip!

I read all the reviews on how great the place was and well....they're right!! The condo itself is huge and fit 5 guests comfortably. We were up every morning to watch the amazing sunrise and every night we'd do downstairs and watch the sunset from the nearby beach. The location is ideal, it's close to everything but yet you're out of the traffic. Very quiet location and we enjoyed the peace and quiet each night listening to the waves crash on the beach. If we ever go back to Martahon this will be where we book our trip!

Fantastic

We have a wonderful time at Key Colony Beach. The condo was exactly as pictured. Both Rich and Elizabeth were great to work with. We loved this unit - the views were amazing, the location is convenient and the amenities were great. The most unexpected surprise were the other people staying there. Our 14 year old was fishing off the dock every evening, and there were other guests that got to know him and shared their fishing knowledge as well. By mid-week, we would walk down to watch the sunset and everyone would call our son by name and ask how his day was, and what his fishing plans were for the evening. Even the grounds keeper went out of his way to help our son out. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful property and great location

We stayed for a week for our fall break. The condo is beautifully decorated and the layout is great for families. The location was central so we were able to enjoy a couple of days in Key West and a couple of days in Islamorada. We also hit some of the local attractions in Marathon. My favorite part of each day was drinking coffee on the deck and watching the sunrise. For sunsets, we were usually out and about. But there was a park just around the corner that would have been great for sunsets if we had made it back in time. Would stay here again for a Keys vacation.

Amazing place to stay!

This condo was very clean and the decor was very inviting and in perfect colors for at the beach. It also had everything we needed. The balcony was our favorite place to sit as we had upfront water views and entertainment with all the boats that pass by this area. We could watch the sunrise and just a short walk around the corner allowed us to watch a beautiful sunset. The master bath and closet were huge and left us feeling very spoiled. At the end of a week's vacation I always hate leaving the beach but am usually ready to get back to my own house. This was the first time that I could have stayed much longer. The location was also very close to several tiki hut style waterfront restaurants as well as the aquarium and dolphin rescue center. The only downfall was the extensive amount of seaweed that gathers on the little beach area right in front of the condo, which obviously is out of anyone's control, but the next small beach area around the corner usually was more clear.

Unbelievable!

Location, Location, Location. This place is outstanding. Large decks overlooking the water, furnishings are nice, a lot of space and that view. We never go back to the same place twice, this could be the exception. It was a great week, this is a great place to relax and enjoy the view.

Quiet paradise

We loved our stay at Key Colony Point! The view was amazing, condo was great. The kitchen selection-spices, pots and pans, and lots of extras was excellent. Many items that you don't normally get in a rental were there for our use. Very quiet property with an older crowd which was perfect for this trip.

Beautiful Condo

This condo is extremely very nice. The rooms are large the furnishings are beautiful and comfortable . The proximity to the pool , hot tub, fishing dock and a small little private beaches , bathrooms or really nice it’s very tropical highly recommend it. They are very thoughtful about everything there . Feels more like a home then a condo the balcony is spectacular right on the water you feel like you’re on a ship. They had closets full of beach toys some fishing equipment even Christmas lights and we decorated the balcony because we were there right before Christmas. I go to Florida about three times a year and I have to say this is one of the best condos I’ve stayed in absolutely pristine!

Key Colony Vacation

This was the most beautiful place we have ever booked under VRBO. The unit was beautiful, clean, big, with an awesome view. The management and owner were very friendly and helpful. Only problem we had was the ice maker did not work the whole week we were there, but management was trying to get it fixed. Otherwise, it was the perfect place to be. Because the place was so nice, even when it rained one whole day, we did not mind staying at the condo. It was like being at home but with the ocean right in front of us. A perfect place to stay, would recommend to anyone.

A the details were perfect!

Had a great stay for the week with girlfriends. We were close to great restaurants but had a wonderful kitchen to cook in as well. We easily drove to Key West for a day, but we’re glad to escape back to our Oceanside views. We took advantage of some of the snorkeling gear in the condo to check out the rocks just outside the condo. Would 100% book again!

This is a beautiful beach condo. We enjoyed our stay very much. Sitting in the living room is like being on a ship. The location is excellent with easy access to the water to snorkel right outside your window and a beautiful pool to jump into after your water adventures. The dock was amazing and fun to watch the tarpon at night. The condo was very comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful kitchen, bathrooms, and comfortable beds. We definitely want to come back. The only drawback was we would have really liked to stay 10 days. That is our typical vacation. 2 weeks is too long and 1 week goes way too fast. Would love if you allowed that.

A Quiet Oasis

The condo has everything you need for a vacation on the ocean to escape the pandemic or work. Our family, two adults and two 17-year-old girls, spent 14 days here and it was a welcome relief. The girls took over the back bedroom with two beds, a TV, and its own bathroom. My wife and I had the master bedroom which overlooked the ocean, a large walk-in closet, and bathroom. Huge floor to ceiling windows on this corner unit lets in lots of light and it also has a huge "L" shape balcony. In the mornings I enjoyed a mug of coffee watching the sunrise as the girls slept. If you decide to dine-in, the kitchen has plenty of room for two adults to prepare meals while the kids sit at the counter. One of the closets near the front door is stocked with beach supplies, including umbrellas, chairs, a cooler, beach mats, and other accessories. I didn't get a chance to use the fishing rods and tackle to catch dinner. Others guests did and had good luck catching a meal. We're a fan of Publix when we travel to Florida. The Marathon bakery has a selection of freshly baked empanadas, pastries, donuts, desserts, and pretty much anything else you might need. They also have pretty good fried chicken and a deli counter. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from, The Key Colony Inn, Island Fish Co., Driftwood Pizza, Herbie's Bar & Chowder House, Keys Fisheries, Porky's Bayside, and many others. The condo owner was very responsive to our emails or texts and checking-in was a breeze. If you're looking for a clean, quiet spot with lots of room for a vacation, check out this condo, and you won't be disappointed. We'll be back for another stay.
