'This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a small, family-run boutique. When I had trouble dealing with noise from the street due to migraines, they moved me to a quieter room. When I got an ear infection, one of their workers walked me to a medical clinic and helped me with the appointment. The family even invited me to go bicycling with them. '

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

'Hotel Casa Montero is a solid choice if you want to stay in the historic center of Quito. The entry courtyard is tranquil and inviting, and the beds are quite comfortable. A particular bonus was the size and functionality of the bath/shower -- really impressive! The staff was fantastic -- very kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great time here!'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'The hotel was so cute, well decorated (I love the 'it's a museum' vibe). I love that the artwork inside went with the room name/theme. I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. It was a last minute reservation I just needed for one night, but I'm looking forward to returning and staying for multiple nights!'

'I had a really enjoyable stay here at Hotel Sucre for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Shirley was brilliant. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious.
