'We had a wonderful stay at Phoenicia Lodge. We stayed for two nights and went hiking in the surrounding area. The lodge is in a great location—ideal if you have a car (we didn’t, but we managed just fine). Sandra was a huge help, and the welcome was fantastic. She always gave great advice and really takes good care of her guests. I highly recommend Phoenicia Lodge.'

'Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. When we did find it, there was just a key left on the table with my name saying that everything was self-service. Not one employee in sight. 'Terrible place to stay, hallways dirty, boxes and other rubish was scattered troughout the hotel. Firealarm was beeping loud in the room, and was hanging from the wall. The room smelled horrible. Went down to check-in and got another room. Smelled a little better but stuff was dirty, dust everywhere. Only superficial cleaning done. This was the only somewhat affordable hotel around but you better drive those extra 25 miles! Never again. '

'We had a wonderful stay. The room and home was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a highlight, with a spacious Jacuzzi bathtub that was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything was comfortable, and we enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay here again.'
