'Two things bring the otherwise good review down. The information given at the lodge and the map of the park provided was NOT ACCURATE causing us to drive completely down a path that was no longer in use and we almost got stuck. This even though we specifically asked if the map was up to date having been sold an inaccurate map in Nakuru before. Searching for the way to Wandare gate from the Ark cost us more than 2 hours. 'The accommodation and especially the tent was very nice. Unfortunately, on arrival there was no vehicle available for us to do the game drives. We indicated by mail, weeks in advance, that we would like to do all game drives. Afterwards we understood that Shadrack, the General Manager, had suggested to our driver from Nairobi to leave us at the camp without the possibility to do the game drives at all.
