« A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

« Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The North Norfolk Line from the North side of the cutting The large cutting here is one of the larger engineering hurdles on the line. Although there is only sand and gravel to dig it must have been a big job. I would imagine the cutting material went to built the large embankment that takes the line to Weybourne. Heather and Gorse can be seen, the sandy soils making Kelling Heath famous for rare plants and animals. This is where Michael Palin first saw the sea, from the train window when the line was still open. Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing.
