'We haven’t been in an HI hostel in a long time (in our 70s) but were very happy with our overnight stay in HI Aveiro. Staff were lovely, the room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent. We walked to it from the bus station via the beautiful park. Not many eateries in the immediate neighbourhood (apart from a McDonalds almost opposite) but only 15 minutes on foot to the many restaurants/cafes in the town centre. '

'What I like was the location, it was directly near a square with restaurants and shops. Although it was directly at the square we weren't troubled by any noice. What we didn't like was the state of the bathroom, the ceiling was full of mold. Also the silicant sealants in the bathroom were very 'moldy'. The floor of the room was clean but the skirting boards were dirty and full of dust. Actually I can't complain cause the price was only €51. That is very cheap and this is what I can get for this...
