« My host Daniella was very nice and helpful with local information. The last day officially I was meant to check out at 10am, but I was allowed to stay free of charge till 7pm, as my flight home was not until 9.30 pm. Danielle even gave me a lift to the airport. Obviously I was lucky nobody was checking in on the day I left and also that she happened to be free to drive me to the airport. Overall a nice quiet place to stay, only a 2 or 3 minute walk to the ocean. »

I would have given a much higher rating but there was a sewer issue which the owner said was a city issue they couldn’t do anything about. « This area of Croatia is beautiful, but we mostly enjoyed the people of the community. The unit is also very fresh and comfortable inside, while it was also a nice surprise learning the structure itself is 400 years old. Mr Karlo, who’s the contact for rental access, was polite and timely. Turns out he also drives as a taxi. His service was helpful, simple, and taxi fair with him was same price as presented by Uber app. »

« It was a little weird arriving to a lat/long coordinate then calling the host to be let in. Our phone doesn’t always work on a foreign SIM card for calling, but it did this time. The property is a 400 year old manor house and shows its age from the outside, but inside was clean and comfortable. It has a mini split a/c in the main room, and one of the 2 bedrooms.
