Gin & Tonic is set in the peaceful Kalamar Bay only minutes drive from Kalkan town centre. The area offers unrivalled and uninterrupted views, a tranqil cove and sea swimming from a platform minutes walk from the villa. There are also 2 popular beach clubs and associated restaurants within a few minutes walk. The two floor villa has been interior designed to create a spacious, comfortable and 'home away from home' feeling incorporating influences of modern western designs. The ground floor has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area extending out to private infinity pool and jacuzzi, outdoor dining and four sun-lounging areas. The villa has internet wifi.
The upstairs area has 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite, with private balconies and an additional shared balcony for relaxing in the sunshine. Gin & Tonic is set in a quiet, and very private location on an individual plot, not surrounded by high rise buildings. The evening alfresco dining at the villa offers a magical experience situated by floodlit pool overlooking the twinkling lights of the bay, complete with BBQ to indulge in the local produce. A holiday location you will want to return to.

A true dreamy location. The pool is superb looking out to sea. The views are magnificent and I would absolutely recommend this villa. We have already booked again for next year and cannot wait to return.

Amazing villa with the nicest view that you’ll ever find…Amazing location in Kalamar Bay and within very close distance to Kalkan Old Town and various great restaurants in Kalamar Bay. Great hosts and great communication with constant care from a local villa management company who clean the pool and pool area almost daily. The fresh bread every morning was also a very kind and nice gesture.Absolutely fantastic holiday and we would love to use this villa again if possible.

The best villa we have stayed in! The views are to die for. Everything you need is in the villa, the Beach Club below is great, restaurants are close by, Supermarket just up the road, can't wait to come back!

Stunning view

Lovely week spent in Kalkan in a villa with amazing views. Don’t bother getting a car, it’s easier & very cheap to get taxis everywhere. Highly recommend Kalamar Beach Club which is down the steps at the side of the villa.

Excellent stay

October is our favourite month in Kalkan and Gin and Tonic is our favourite villa. The view from the living area and terrace is spectacular. Liz and the team made sure that our stay was perfect and all our needs were meet. This included a early entry and a late departure, that we were very grateful for. We are already booked for next year.

Villa Gin and Tonic is perfectly positioned in one of the most breathtaking spots in the bay — the views are simply unforgettable.We had planned to explore the area with a few tours, but honestly, we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave the villa! It’s that special.We’d absolutely return again.The property management team deserves a special mention — they were incredibly responsive and helpful, turning up within 20 minutes anytime we had a question or issue. Top-notch service that really added peace of mind.A car is definitely helpful — not because things are far, but due to the steep hills typical of this beautiful area.When booking, I had thought it was in Kas, but it’s actually in Kalkan — and what a wonderful surprise that turned out to be.The town centre and seafront are full of fantastic restaurants with a great atmosphere — lively but never loud.

Most relaxing holiday ever

Just returned from 2 weeks at Villa Gin and Tonic and have to say it was just wonderful. The villa has a beautiful location overlooking the bay below so you can enjoy watching the boats and water sport activity going by and it’s just a 10 minute walk up a steep hill to get to a good choice of restaurants. The views are simply stunning from the gorgeous pool and the pool people deliver you fresh bread everyday which is absolutely delicious. We have already booked again for next year, we didn’t want to leave and cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much for sharing your villa with us Liz!

A little slice of heaven!

Well what can we say? We have just come back from a ten day honeymoon spent at Villa Gin and Tonic… we couldn’t have picked a better place! The views were truly magnificent and the peace and tranquility were second to none! The villa was everything we expected and more. The daily delivery of fresh bread was a lovely extra touch and the welcome pack was great! Liz and Karyn were both very helpful and great hosts. It was our first time visiting Kalkan and we fell in love with both the place and the villa and we we definitely be back!!!!! Thank you for making our honeymoon as special as it was xx

This villa is absolutely heavenly. The view is stunning, pictures do not do it justice. Pool is so lovely and very well mantained. Absolutely perfect ! Spent so much time in the jacuzzi admiring the view. Could never tire of this ! Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Loved that the balconies were also furnished. Turning to the inside, lovely comfortable furnishings. Very well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Communication with Liz has been great, plenty of info. Also, the house manager Ibo. We had to contact him a couple of times over really minor issues and he replied swiftly. The issues were dealt with in a matter of hours. Also, a really decent welcome pack which in my experience is not very often provided these days and fresh bread delivered daily. Such lovely touches. As far as I'm concerned Villa Gin and Tonic is excellent, 10/10. The view is the cherry on the top !!

Outstanding!

Just Wow! That sums up everything about gin and tonic. Perfect location, I loved walking a few minutes to have a daily mile in the sea! Perfectly appointed, quiet, well equipped, the most outstanding view! Loved the feline visitors which we fed daily! Liz was fantastic to communicate with, especially when we lost our bank card which created some issues! As soon as we got home I went online to rebook as it’s such a truly amazing place. Sadly fully booked (not surprising!!) so we’ll have to wait until next year! Thank you Liz, we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful views

We have had an amazing time at Villa Gin and Tonic. When we arrived we just wowed at the views and that continued the whole time. My family would not leave the villa only for meals at night in Kalkan, as just so relaxing. Beds are comfortable, kitchen great to prepare in with everything you need and sociable lounge with the window views. The pool was our favourite, we certainly got our use. You can walk up a v steep hill to Carrefour supermarket. It’s about 10 mins away but hills are a challenge. Take your trainers :) taxi into Kalkan easy just WhatsApp the numbers on the fridge. We didn’t want to leave and would love to return. Thanks for the items provided to start us off and bread everyday we really appreciated.

Just lovely

We really wanted a stress free peace and quiet holiday in comfortable home and glorious pool. We got it. It was very hot had heatwave first week so pretty much spent all day in pool reading many books overlooking stunning views and sea. Heaven. Views are just gorgeous. Slightly wanted to lob off top of a tree in front of jacuzzi but all added to charm and nature! So much for eating in every other night - we didn’t eat in once! Food locally was too delicious. Walk up hill interesting as I am so not fit! Next year I will do better! Loved it and so glad booked early for next year. Villa is very comfortable and has all you need as everyone else has said.

Wonderful Villa wonderful town!

We spent a lovely week at Villa Gin & Tonic. The villa was everything we expected; even our 16 year old was happy. He especially enjoyed having his own balcony. The welcome gift was greatly appreciated and included essentials like tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, cheese and a bottle of wine. The daily bread delivery an unexpected, and pleasant, surprise. There was lots to do even though we were a bit early in the season and Altu and Define Tour companies were very helpful in sorting out activities like kayaking, rafting and jet skiing. Walking the hills to town helped worked off all the lovely food….although taxis were only 70TL to town and came within minutes. Overall, we loved our stay and can’t wait to return as there was still a lot we couldn’t do because we had two bad days of weather.

This was our first ever Villa holiday. Kept looking at the photos thinking this is too good to be true. Lets face it photos can be made to look better. WOW I was wrong. This villa is absolutely stunning. The views are breath taking. I didnt expect all the extras too that came with the Villa. Toilet rolls, beach towels, dressing gowns etc etc. There was everything in the kitchen you needed and plenty of utensils. Communication with Liz and Karyn just Brilliant. The fresh bread dilivery every day was such a great gesture. Kalamar has some fab restaurants but the quirky streets in Kalkan were amazing. Restaurants we visited was Porchini, Aqua, Barahat and The small house. All amazing. However we did cook some fabulous fresh produce. We have booked for next year. First holiday I really really didnt want to leave. Thank you Liz for sharing your Gem with us. Xx

Fantastic villa

All the other reviews that villa Gin and Tonic has are correct - it is exceptional! We have has family holidays in villas all over the Med in the past 20 years or so - this is one of the best we have stayed in. The photos do not really do the actual views justice, the views over the bay from the living room and the pool are amazing. The villa itself is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Both Liz (owner) and Karyn (manager) and very helpful and very responsive to any questions we had. We stayed for a week in August 2024, it was very hot, but the villa is perfect for lazing round the pool and popping in to cool off. There are a few restaurants nearby that we tried, although we found those in the town to be better, in particular we liked the Korsan Fish Terrace and Aubergine. Its also well worth a visit to Guru's Place which is a bit out of town, but the closest to delicious traditional Turkish food that we found. In August its too hot and too hilly to walk, taxis are plentiful, fast to arrive and cheap - don't bother walking into town! If you like to swim in the sea, its a very short walk to the Kulube Hotel, they seem to own the shoreline and have their own loungers that they hire out, but they will let you get into the sea for a swim (for free) if you explain you are staying in a villa up the hill. Patara is about a 30 minutes drive and well worth a visit.

A Stunning Piece of Paradise!!!

Wow! What an awesome week our family had and what an absolute gem the divine Villa Gin & Tonic is!! Having been on many villa holidays, this is by far and away the most amazing place we have stayed. Not only is the villa absolutely stunning (even better than the pictures) and well equipped to a high standard with everything you could possibly need, the attention to detail and extra special touches like the very generous welcome pack, daily delivery of fresh bread and brilliant water cooler, puts this special place in a league of its own. The location is perfect with such stunning views, so close to the sea & beach clubs and amazing restaurants everywhere. Kalkan / Kalamar is the friendliest, most welcoming place! Liz is the perfect host with outstanding communication from the outset and such helpful tips & info to make for a completely stress free experience. Her team in Kalkan, Karyn and Rambo, are brilliant too. Look no further - you have found the perfect place for the most relaxing and heavenly holiday! Even our tween and teen were delighted with everything (including the ever important wifi!). Make sure you peruse the fabulous info file in the villa & also the guest book for highlights & recommendations. On our first evening we had already decided to rebook for next year. Fabulous villa with incredible views

Utterly amazing views, at this comfortable well equipped villa. Fabulous pool with comfortable sun beds and actual beds. Great for our family of 4. Liz was so helpful - we have been planning this trip for 4 years and Liz's flexibility has been second to none. Lovely to have fresh bread delivered daily, and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Kalkan is beautiful. We struggled to get anywhere under our own steam as it was soo hot, and everything is up hill, but taxis were easy to book cheap and fast to arrive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return.
