'The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. 'we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. 'Meer dan prima verblijf gehad. Plymouth is een kleine 20 minuten rijden. Saltash ligt om de hoek. Houdt wel rekening met een tractor op de weg. Kamer, zwembad, gym en golf course een echte aanrader. Er is echter niets te vermaak op loop afstand.'

'An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months'

'Beautiful private retreat, very clean and quiet, Friendly staff. Only down side was that the sky light above the jacuzzi needs a blind because the room got very bright at 5am ideal if you will be up that early in the summer. Will definitely be coming back. '

'Nice place in quiet surroundings. Rooms are comfortable, dinner was really tasty and breakfast was very nice as well. Only down side was that they finish up at 10 pm and we had guests joining us for dinner, so we felt a bit rushed in the end because we weren't informed in advance. Hope to be back with good weather, must be a treat!'
