Karitane Beach is the ultimate beach for swimming, surfing, and boogie boarding, Just a few minute’s walk down the beach, you can take a side street & cross over to the other side of the headland, which has an estuary - At low tide, enjoy hunting for crabs , digging for cockles, gathering mussels, or bring your fishing rod, and try your luck on the jetty - then return home to cook your own seafood feast ! and pick orangic greens from the vegetable and herb garden.
There are 2 driveways, and plenty of room for parking if you wish to bring your boat, or ocean toys.
Inside the home, enjoy the spectacular Art Collection from top New Zealand & International contemporary Artists. The Artwork is masterfully merged with beautiful antiques, and interesting eclectic treasures.
Relax in the comfortable leather chesterfields, and enjoy a Gin & Tonic from the Gin bar, and access to a full cupboard of crystal glass’s.
By prior arrangement, wine storage or access to the 2000 bottle hidden Wine Cellar is available.
With 3 double rooms, 2 ensuites, and an extra WC, linen and velvet bedding adorn the highest quality beds.
The new chefs kitchen is equipped with a commercial grade oven, gas cooktop, and all the kitchen accessories you could wish for……
The Karitane General Store is only a brief walk and stocks all of your essentials, as well, they offer daily baking, great coffee & tea, & wood fired pizza on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (Bookings essential )
