'Charming boutique hotel. Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. The restaurant, just across the street and on the beach is also beautiful with excellent food. Highly recommended.'

'I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect.
The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk.
The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! I was able to eat really good plant based meals without getting bored of the menu. The chef would come out to chat, and was very keen to ensure I enjoyed the food.

'Prachtig gerenoveerd gebouw met veel charme. Het personeel en de voorzieningen inclusief ontbijt waren fantastisch wel niet goedkoop. Hier kom ik zeker nog terug.'

'Beautiful upmarket stay in a gorgeous location. I will note it’s not walking distance to fort but easily reached by a 10 min Tuk Tuk. We visited in off season and had the entire place to ourself '
