Sprawling year round 1500 sq ft 4 bed 2 bath waterfront ranch style home that sleeps up to 8 adults with 12 people total, and no more than 3 vehicles total allowed (per township short term rental rules). There are 2 rooms with a king size bed, 1 room woth 2 Queen size beds and one room with 1 Queen size bed, all on the shortest channel of famous all-sports 2680 acre Gun Lake, the largest inland lake in West Michigan. This is the perfect quiet vacation getaway and great place make memories! All you need to bring are your food, clothing and personal toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shavers, etc), fishing gear if you fish, a boat if warm season and you have a boat, and you're good to go!

Gun Lake is extremely popular for competition fishing, pleasure boating, skiing, tubing, and swimming off a boat or at one of the public beaches. There is a nice yard and 2 decks as well as a 10' deep 40' long boardwalk to enjoy the waterfront lifestyle, fish with poles or nets, feed the ducks, geese, sparrows, sea gulls, swans, watch turtles, kayak, paddle board, or take your boat out and enjoy the lake life every day!

This custom home features a sunken master bedroom with an accessible bathroom for all guests even though it is in the master suite, it is on the same level as the rest of the bedrooms and no steps in or out of it. So if accessibility is needed just know the only steps inside the house at all or two steps down into the master bedroom at self. The sunken master suite, living room, kitchen and waterfront bedroom all have cathedral ceilings and both bathrooms have solid surface stone (Granite & Marble) countertops and the master has a luxury Italian Tile shower as well.

The living room is spacious and the main floor features all new super insulated cathedral ceilings. Every bedroom has a flat screen TV. The entire main floor living room/dining room/kitchen has luxury vinyl plank flooring, and all bedrooms have new carpeting.

The kitchen features underlit maple cabinetry with glazed cabinets, all new stainless steel appliances, and almost anything you can think of at your own home, from the waffle maker to the griddle for pancakes, to the coffee maker, to silverware and all the spices and such for cooking so you don't need to bring all of that, just the food!

There are several decks and also a patio set and grill for enjoying the evening with friends! There is a 40' waterfront boardwalk and seawall is perfect for fishing off of, or mooring your boat whether you own or rent one from one of the boat rental business on the lake.

The new laundry area off the entry hallway, brand new front end loading washer and dryer as well as detergent and fabric softener supplied for you, so no need to ever visit a laundromat while staying here. We also have everything like washcloths, body shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

There is Charter Spectrum internet and high speed Wi-Fi so you can watch streaming movies on the other TV's in the bedrooms or get work done while everyone is out on the lake in the warm months or skiing or ice fishing in the winter.

For Spring/Summer/Fall guests there are also 2 paddle boards and 2 one person kayaks that are shared with the house next door owned by the same owner! There is also a fire pit area great for cooking hot dogs and marshmallows. Expecting guests? Not a problem! One vehicle can have the carport and several other vehicles will fit in the parking area as well.

For winter guests the ice can be great for skating and ice fishing if it has been below freezing at least 2 straight weeks before your stay, just make sure it is solid and take all necessary precautions like wearing a provided life vest over your coat just to ensure safety. Also the check in time in the winter can be flexible on dates when there is nobody scheduled to stay at the house the night before so we don’t have a same-day turnover. For those planning to ski at one of the nearby ski resorts, just know that by car Bittersweet Ski Resort is only 22 miles or 28 minutes away, and Timber Ridge is only 26 miles or 34 minutes away. As long as the nights are below freezing these resorts make their own snow and usually are open and everyone has a great time.
