Dream vacation at the Lanikai Studio
Mu husband and I stayed for a month in the Lanikai Studio. It was everything we hoped for, only better. We will definately be back.
The view from the deck is spectacular: one of my favorite in all of Oahu. We never got tired of watching the sunrise over the Mokes, the brilliant blue colors of the ocean changing thoughout the day, and the kite surfers and outrigger canoes heading out on the water. The beaches are extraordinary and just a short walk away through the neighborhood. We swam and snorkled daily at Lanikai Beach and regularly got to swim with turtles.
The studio itself is clean and tastefully decorated with lovely artwork. We wanted to live lightly while in Hawaii (easy to do in paradise) and found the space perfect. The bed is comfortable and the unit well supplied though simple and not over the top: it was just the way we wanted it. We cooked most of our meals at home and grilled almost daily. I loved working in the kitchen. It was small but very fun to work in with the door open, facing the ocean. There is an off street parking site- important in this area with little side streets.
Noni is a wonderful host- we miss her already! Her niece Loni covered part of the time we were there too and was equally as gracious. We are so grateful to have enjoyed their family home.
