Clean and excellent base for Oahu north

One of the condos in gated resort area. Upper level unit 88, nice view. Clean and well equipped. No lanai/outside sitting area. Small swimming pool across the parking place. Bed located in the loft, where it was uncomfortably warm (mobile air cooler provided but too noisy for us; ceiling fan in main room did not help either, also not in indicated direction for the purpose). Temp down in the room was much better, also without AC by opening the windows/door. Interior mostly as advertised (slightly different but equally nice, some other fridge/furniture, much bigger TV screen). Convenient location for North shore area, 10 min drive from the Kahuku food trucks. Quiet Kawela bay/beach 1 mile walk, great afternoon/evening stroll. More crowded Kuilima cove beach next to Turtle Bay resort, 15 min walk/ 2 min drive. Pearl harbor 1 hour drive either west or east wards (apart from possible heavy traffic).

The Kitchen was very well stocked as well as beach items that we were appreciated to have since we traveled by air. The A/C could use an upgrade, it seemed small for the size of the unit did not cool off the loft area at night. We were fortunate that we did not need to use it other than one evening. Overall, the unit was very nice and comfortable, and I would recommend it to my friends and family. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with.

This was a wonderful home base for my North Shore trip! The condo was very clean and fully stocked with kitchen supplies, beach gear, books/games, Brita water pitcher, and more. The host had great communication and provided easy/clear instructions for check-in (entry codes, wifi, etc). For anyone with mobility issues or who prefers to avoid the stairway to the loft bedroom, I can personally vouch that the futon couch in the living room is quite comfy to sleep on! And last but not least, the view is even more lovely than the pictures show - you can even see peeks of the ocean through the trees. Would gladly stay here again!

The apartment was in a perfect location for us. It was a 8 min walk to Ritz Carlton and the beach. Area is peaceful, serene and gorgeous. Apartment is just like described. Clean and cozy and has everything you might need. Highly recommended.

Pretty lame showing up to our condo at 8:30 pm in the dark and not being able to get in. Luckily the hotel had by the PCC had vacancy or we’d have to drive all the way back to Honolulu!

Was not clean when we arrived. Dorito chip mess on floor and furniture. Dirty bathroom with pee on toilet, black whiskers and toothpaste in and aound sink. Had to make the bed and vacuum and sweep the floors, & fold a dryer full of towels before we could finally relax. The microwave door wouldn't open without force and prying. Security light above the front door flashed off and on all night, every night of our stay. Apart from that, we had a nice stay. Bed was comfortable.
