Remodeled with original artwork throughout, this garden and resort-view 1-bedroom condo with loft is located in the Banyan Building at the beautiful oceanfront resort of Maui Kaanapali Villas. Our condo is thoughtfully updated and comfortably furnished, blending modern touches with unique artistic details. Watch your favorite DVD on the 65" smart TV in the living room or the 32" TV in the bedroom. Accommodates up to 4 people with 2 side tilt twin beds in the living room and a second bathroom downstairs. Beach chairs, toys and boogie boards are also included.

The resort collects a $40 Per Night + Taxes facility fee upon check-in which covers:

Had a great time!

We had a blast in Hawaii – really enjoyed our stay. This condo is well-situated: close to the front desk / water filters, close to the beach, close to the restaurant. Nice garden views. Quiet. Had a great time, would love to come back!

Great slice of Heaven!

Our stay here was perfect. It was exactly what we were looking for while here for a wedding. Conveniently located one stoplight away from Whalers Village. The beach was a short 5 minute or less walk down the path. Great way to wake up to coffee on the lanai with birds chirping and a view of the beautiful flowers. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. We found chairs and umbrella in the closet for the beach. We slept well on the upstairs bed and our teens slept well on the Murphy beds downstairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice and clean! Great layout and location. The lanai has a wonderful view of trees and landscape. Close walk to both pools and the Murphy beds are super convenient and easy to pull down/put up.

ONE OF THE BEST

This beautifully-appointed condo gave us 12 delightful days in Maui. The kitchen was as well-equipped as my own. The lovely, large loft bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed… and so quiet at night. An easy walk to the pools. Fabulous snorkeling if you walk about 5 minutes north on the beach. Castaway Cafe was so convenient with top notch dinners. We want to come back here again, and stay in this unit if possible.

Nice Condo but not 1bdrm

I've been to Kaanapali Villas @10+ times before. The location is beautiful and quiet, as always. The condo unit was equally beautiful. However, the unit was advertised as a one bedroom, yet it is actually a studio loft, as the upstairs bedroom has an open wall above the living room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.

Great location & property - one major flaw

No question this location can't be beat. Steps from the beach, quiet complex, walkable to a lot of restaurants (and a short drive to more). Fully equipped kitchen, beach gear, etc. Just right for our family of four (two older teens & parents). We did have a maintenance issue that went unresolved while we were there. The downstairs bathroom doorknob was broken, trapping our daughter inside. She was able to take the door off the hinges once we passed some tools through the louvers to her. Let manager know, but it wasn't fixed. Then our other daughter got trapped (we'd been trying to leave the door open, but it blew shut). Again, took the door off and this time just left it. If the girls had been younger or less familiar with tools, we would have had to break the door down to get them out. No one ever came to fix it or even got back to us after it happened. So, it probably won't happen to you, but if you do have an emergency, you're kind of on your own. Overall though, we had a blast and the beach couldn't be beat. Uncrowded, great snorkeling, friendly staff.

Spectacular!! Great location, updated comfortable unit with great lanai and access to Kaanapali Beach Walk. Great beach and lawn area off beach to find shade and watch sunsets. Castaway Cafe was small and friendly and had good food. Close to everything but not congested like many of the bigger resorts. Loved our time here and will be back!!

This unit is a nice unit and we loved the location-nice beachwalk both directions. Grounds were kept up and it beat the expense of the resort hotels. Nice, big bathroom downstairs, comfortable bed. Definitely a nice place.

Great Place, Great Stay!

Our family of 4 (kids 12 & 15) had a wonderful time in mid June! What a great space, and location. 3 minute walk to the beach a little north of Black Rock less crowded than around the high-rise hotels and condos!!! Space was clean an convenient. With the 2 Murphy beds, everyone was comfortable. Well maintained unit! Thanks for a great stay—we’ll definitely be back!

MKV - B233 - Execelent place for a family of 4!

This was our second stay at Banyan 233. It's a great place to stay with a large living area with 2 separate pull down beds for the kids (their own bathroom) and a totally separate master bedroom loft with ceiling fan above the bed and a nice sized full bathroom. Kitchen supplies were complete and had a bunch of helpful gadgets. The lanai was a nice size with plenty of room for 4 to eat, quiet area of the building with little birds visiting us every morning. Only issues; beach chairs were fairly worn out and a better cloth type beach umbrella would be nicer to use than the flimsy ones. The master bed was very uncomfortable for me, only slept 4 hours at a time waking up with a sore back due to the hardness of the mattress - but I like a softer bed, might be great for those who do not. I would love to see the owners put a pillow top mattress in there, or next time I will have to bring an inflatable for my side of the bed. Mgt company was great when we had to do a late check out for minimal cost. We would definitely stay in B233 again!
