« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. « Blowing Rock is a beautiful little town. Unfortunately, big conglomerates are buying up the small hotel properties, and the personal service that was once the rule is now lacking entirely. « This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed.
