'Lovely staff and comfy bed, We were late for breakfast but the were still happy to serve us. The pub has recently been under new management so they are busy with improvements. Would happily return,'

'Het heeft vooral de sfeer van een ‘guesthouse’, omdat het volledig gerund wordt door een uiterst aardig echtpaar, dat je ‘s morgens een prima ontbijt serveert en je op elk gewenst moment te woord zal staan. Heel anders dan een hotel met aardig maar afstandelijk personeel. De Lodge zelf is op leeftijd, dus verwacht geen hypermodern comfort.'

'Helen was a marvelous host. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast options were classic and well balanced …made and presented with gourmet flair. Exceptional experience.'

'Yes everything was spot on'

'Very nice people, everything about the room was good. Nice breakfast with many options. Recomended '

'I haven't seen a living person. Room was nice and quit.'

'Nothing too special, but the rooms are good size and in good condition. Friendly staff. Food was above expectation and better than the usual hotel fare. '

'Expensive for room only, paid £222. Room in need of update and maintenance. Could not get TV on without entering my email address. The room was on the ground floor behind the pub and very noisy until all guests left about 11.30'

'This place is the best hotel we have stayed in I travel all over Europe with my son boxing and this is the best by far the staff are great so helpful they are friendly and great the main man Silva was great did all we asked plus more and the food was great and the place is so cheap'

'Heel tevreden over het hotel, de service en de maaltijden. Zeer verzorgt. Vriendelijk personeel. Voor herhaling vatbaar.'
