'The rooms are rather old and in need of a refurb: blinds on window (in two separate rooms) did not work, and in both rooms the safe was broken. I had to ask on three separate occasions to have house keeping clean the room and replace towels etc. House keeping eventually cleaned my room on the 4th day, despite the first request on day 2. This is not a low cost hotel, and I expected better. I would not stay here again'

'This hotel is very run down. Water damage on the windowsills, a toilet that didn't work properly, extremely low water pressure in the shower, and snagged/torn bedding. The room has no storage in either the bed area or the bathroom. The parking is expensive ($35 per day) and no guarantee that your spot will be there for you if you leave and come back. The spots that are open are extremely tight. It's close to everything and the staff was nice, but I would never stay there again.'

'Property was outstanding from pool to fire pits, horse shoes and bocce ball. Plenty of land to wonder around and docks to sit on, complete with kayaks and paddle boards. Will definitely return.'

'This hotel is in a convenient place, with several restaurants within walking distance and a mall just across the street. The front desk staff was helpful and polite. The hotel was not very clean. The carpets in the lobby and common areas appear dirty and stained. In the pool area, no clean towels were available and the hamper was overflowing with wet, used towels. Hot tub was out of service. 'The location of the property was ideal for shopping and restaurants (about 5 minutes to several shopping centers and the mall). It is also not far from Sandy point (about 15 minutes) or Kent Island attractions (about 25 minutes). There is nothing to complain about with the staff who were nice enough. The room and hotel are fine but, to me, were not quite up to the expected standard of a DoubleTree. We didn't use it but there is a convenient shuttle that probably we could have taken advantage of.'
