'On arrival the door to the unit was ajar. Not sure why it was left open. That said, the place was lovely. A damper was put on the trip on checkout because the host is harassing us; accusing us of smoking in the unit and it is simply not true. As a result of this experience we will not stay here again.'

'Great apartment, wasn’t 100% aware it was a second and third floor but the top floor was huge
Bottled water available and easy to get to trains (HBLR) and buses into Exhange place and then to NYC
Some things a bit high on the kitchen for my 5ft wife but all great.
Neighbourhoods a bit noisy at times but well worth a stay'

'The host was super kind and helpful! before I even got there he signed me up for a guest parking permit and all I had to worry about was moving my car for street cleaning. The place was very clean, very good value for the price. The only thing I would keep in mind is the listing says 15 min to NYC, which is accurate if you’re driving but most cases people aren’t. It was about 45-60 mins to get into the city which we didn’t mind, but just so others know. I would definitely stay here again!!'

'It is a basement apartment. Well-built, great hardwood floors (which they had cleaned very well), so for a basement apartment, probably one of the best I have seen. However, for Air conditioning, there are just two vents, which are insufficient. We had to ask for an extra Padestal fan, which the owner provided, so thanks for that. Owner was courteous and tried to solve our problems/concerns.'

'This place has a super cute vibe and a great balcony space. The bed was very comfortable and the place had air conditioning which made for a good night’s sleep! The host was very responsive. The overhead rain shower was nice. The location was perfect for us visiting my daughter just a short walk away. My only notes would be that the toilet was plugged and not flushing right upon arrival. There was a plunger to fix that. (But still.) The bathroom sink could use some Draino. There were 3 narrow...

'This is a property in the basement . Door directly facing the garbage refuse area. The stairway to get to this basement apartment is very steep and unclean, there were cockroaches roaming around outside the apartment, the apartment itself was decent on the inside . The location is good too. How ever the garbage refuse area and the unclean stairway downstairs are very off putting . This again may / may not be in the host’s control, hence the 4 stars. '
