'We needed a quick weekend spot to stay while my wife ran a race in the area. Fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, coffee, etc) comfy couch and giant TV. Washer and drier, plus 2 window AC units which more than cool the house.

'We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful property. We had our 3 young kids with us and my parents, and everyone enjoyed themselves fully. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with whatever we needed. 'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'

'We stayed at Mountain Brook Lodge for two nights, and our experience was excellent. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It's conveniently located just about 20 minutes from Lake Placid and is close to all the major attractions in the area. Parking is available right outside your room, which is very convenient. They also offer connecting rooms, making it a great choice for larger families or groups traveling together.'
