SansSouci "No Worries" Summerwoods of Amelia Condo,Walk to Beach! OR Enjoy Pool!

Summerwoods of Amelia, a newer community located on the south end of the island where the parkway is canopied with majestic oaks. It is beautiful. Located between the Ritz Carlton and the renowned Summer Beach area, it is in my opinion the perfect location. We welcome you to stay at our Vacation Home, names SansSouci meaning "No Worries" and enjoy Amelia Island as much as we do. Within the majestic canopied oaks is a dedicated beach walkway from the condo to the ocean. (see photos) The villa style condo has a community pool for our guests.

The interior has a Luxury Master Suite with Master Bath that includes 2 shower heads, granite counters, dual sinks. The Master Bedroom has an exterior door leading to the screened lanai; all backed up to a line of trees for privacy. There is a large, upscale kitchen with a granite breakfast bar, which seats three and a dining area for four people.

This property is more desirable because it is newer built community and includes more high end amenities such as 10 foot ceilings, raised panel doors, full size washer and dryer, screened lanai, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and tile flooring.

Perfect Peaceful Stay

The Location is perfect near everything. The walk to Beach is quite a haul too far to carry chairs and umbrellas but the drive to several close Beaches worth it with plenty of parking. The condo was clean, comfortable and stocked well. No problem if you have a question or concern Laurie is just a text away.

We absolutely loved our condo. It was clean, fresh, tidy and comfy. The host Laurie was available and in touch about gate codes before I could even ask. A must stay for your trip. It’s close to the beach which is where we spent most of our time. We will be back for sure!

Laurie was a great host and provided some excellent suggestions about how to enjoy Amelia Island. Although I walk to slow to reach the beach in 5 minutes, it is an easy shade-covered walk from the neighborhood to the beach access.

The bed in the master is shot, the queen is OK. Could use new carpet. The condo is dark, no front or side windows, only windows face NW. Only one space to park, under palm tree which drops small black seeds and brown stains on car each night. Condo is well maintained and clean. 10 minute walk to beach. Must drive if you have chairs and umbrella.

This is the second time we have stayed at Summerwoods and we have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The condo is beautiful and clean. We brought our bikes and rode literally from one end of the island to the other (and beyond to Big Talbot.). I hope we can come again.

This is the most well-thought out, and well-equipped villa we have EVER stayed at. Everything was provided: paper towels, toilet paper, dish and laundry detergent, nightlights are just a few. Nice pool, and the garage has chairs and beach umbrella. Would give Laurie and her property 10 stars if we could!

Beautiful, comfortable, delightful property and location.

Laurie was incredibly responsive and helpful and made everything easy from pre-check-in to communication about a very short power outage during a lightening storm to check-out. I wondered if she/they might be a little new to VRBO-ing as she did seem rather concerned at times about the number of people staying, etc. Of course that’s understandable in general as a property owner. I had hoped it didn’t mean that things would be difficult or big-brotherly but that wasn’t the case and the stay couldn’t have been much more wonderful. One small suggestion I would have is if they could make arrangements to have the garage available either for a car or a golf-cart rental (that’s where they keep their golf-cart which is not usable by others) but it didn’t hamper our enjoyment as we had family staying right on the beach and we could park there and/or it was a pleasant half-mile walk along the walkway in the shade/foliage. HIGHLY recommend.

Stunning & Cozy!

Beautiful property in a great neighborhood. The pictures don’t do this home justice. Stunning! So cozy and beautifully decorated. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. We loved the lanai type porch on the back. Wonderful for morning coffee and a book. Would highly recommend to any friend looking to visit Amelia Island. We will be back!
