Luxury Condominium Next Door to the Ritz Carlton

Ocean Place is located on beautiful Amelia Island which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and golf courses in Florida. Ocean Place at Summer Beach is one of the most beautiful properties on the island and is located in the exclusive gated community of Summer Beach Resort right next door to the world-renowned Ritz Carlton Amelia Island Hotel and Spa. At the Ritz, you may enjoy fine dining, spa treatments, tennis, golf and shopping.

This beautiful two bedroom, two bath, 5th floor condominium is located directly on the beach and provides spectacular views and incredible sunrises. This condominium recently had a total renovation. Our condo truly does feel like a second home rather than 'rental condo', because we want our guest to feel like they are at home. Sleep with the doors open and listen to the crashing waves and see the moon from your bed. Then arise in the morning to the most beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean. You can sit out on the deck, and while having your morning coffee, watch the dolphins and sea gulls having their morning breakfast behind the shrimp boats.

Downtown in Fernandina, you will find the oldest seaport in the U.S. which has a rich heritage and has been under eight different flags. My family loves to stroll around downtown, especially at night among the lighted trees and visit the quaint shops and wonderful restaurants. Especially fun, is a horse and buggy ride tour of historic Fernandina. Additionally, there are jet skis, para-sails, and inland/offshore fishing charters available for hire. A short ferry ride can take you to beautiful Cumberland Island, the only national sea shore on the East Coast. We love knowing that out guests are here making memories to last a lifetime.

Great stay with a beautiful view of the ocean. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the amount of construction going on around the buildings and one pool was closed off.

I think this is our third visit to this property. Feels like home with a great view of the ocean. Quaint shops nearby with wonderful restaurants. Enjoyable vacation even tho interrupted by Hurricane Helene. Still never felt unsafe (building is well built with very sturdy hurricane doors/windows). The host is very responsive on times we had questions. Very enjoyable trip.

This unit was more than I had expected. It was very clean and cozy. There was plenty of room for 3 grown ladies to spend the week without feeling crowded. The balcony was our favorite place when we were not at the beach. The beach was easily accessible. The kitchen was stocked with more dishes, pots and pans than any other VRBO I have ever stayed in before. I would definitely think of staying here age.

This unit is a one of a kind. It is updated, clean, and well cared for. We had excellent communication with the owner throughout the entire booking process all the way until checkout. Quiet beach location, not over crowded like some beaches, which is perfect for nice getaway. Great location to grocery, shopping, and local eats! This place checked all of our boxes so we will definitely be staying again!

The condo feels like home. It is well appointed in a very nice area on the island. We listened to the waves as a lullaby, enjoyed cocktails on the balcony and a beautiful sunrise every morning. Every morning started with a beach walk. Our host was amazing and available. We cooked in the kitchen some nights and everything we needed at our fingertips. There is a very nice grocery store close by. The bedrooms are beautiful with comfy beds and lovely linens. Thank you, we will see you again soon!

Go ahead and book this property, that's all I need to say. Everything was absolutely spectacular from the property itself, to the location, the furnishings, but most of all the communication. I have stayed a plenty of properties and been satisfied but this takes it to another level. After 1 day of being back at home we were all day dreaming about going back to Amelia Island. Needless to say, we will definitely be back.

I’ve rented from VRBO in the past but this is the first time I’ve left an exceptional review. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful with our entire stay - from entering the condo to finding places to celebrate Christmas Eve our host was warmly responsive and knowledgeable with every detail. The condo was exactly what our family wanted - cozy, clean, comfortable with a fantastic view of the beach. We walked the beach, visited downtown Amelia Island, took a day trip to St. Augustine and enjoyed beautiful Florida! Thanks Jan for everything - you and Amelia Island are a treasure!

We very much enjoyed our stay for the Georgia/Florida game weekend with our son and his fiancee. The unit was very nice and in good condition. Love the large master bathroom, large closets, full size washer and dryer and the kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated that the owner checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. Our family of 4 just returned from a wonderful week at Amelia Island! We really enjoyed our stay at Jan's condo property -- the process of making the reservation, corresponding with Jan leading up to our arrival and all during our stay was effortless. The condo was just as pictured/communicated and was equipped with all the items & comforts of home -- it was terrific! We also enjoyed our time at the pool (very clean at all times); the close proximity to the beach and we also walked to the Ritz Carlton property several times for morning coffee. Don't delay on making your next reservation at this property, it was truly a great experience and we look forward to returning!

We have celebrated our anniversary on Fernandina Beach several times over the past ten years. Each year we looked for the perfect place. Finally, we found it, Ocean Place, Building 3, Condo 93. The accommodations were absolute perfection. Parking was very easy. Access to Old Town was exactly what we were looking for. Jan Berry has quite a jewel on Fernandina Beach. From the time you unlock the door, you feel like you are home. My wife and I felt like we were part of her family which is the way Jan wanted us to feel. Highly recommend everyone traveling to Amelia Island to see if Ocean Place, Building 3, Condo 93 is available. Discover this little piece of paradise on Florida's best beach.

Everything was perfect. We have been to this area for the past 7 years and this was the best condo we have ever stayed in. We will be returning for sure. The entire place was very very clean. Up to date everything. Very spacious rooms. The best views from the balcony. The host was so nice. Thoughtful touches left around for the guests. We loved it and appreciate you sharing it with us. I’d give it 20 stars if I could !!!!!!!!
