The hotel has a cool concept, and the renovations to the building were largely thoughtful. The rooms were ok, bathrooms were great. Overall was a 4 out of 5.

Shower pressure was great. Rooms were clean. Was disappointed that the rooms did not have a mini frig. My MIL received the handicap room she requested but the walk to the room was VERY long and she had to walk up a steep ramp in the hallway to get to her room. It was an odd placement for a handicap room.

We booked this hotel in May 2026 with a list of amenities including room refrigerators and microwaves, a hotel pool, and guest bourbon bar. These definitely figured into our booking the hotel. We arrived to find that the hotel was sold in June 2026 and was being renovated. The pool was empty and there was no bar available. Our room had no refrigerator or microwave. Basically a room to sleep, not what we had anticipated. The website still shows no sign of renovations nor were we notified. If this was the case, we would not have stayed here. We will not stay here again.

Excellent location, clean, friendly, and convenient to many great restaurants.
