It is a newly constructed house equipped with exquisite furniture, offering modern conveniences like air conditioning cold / hot and a fireplace. On the spacious terraces you can enjoy the climate, the pool, you can have a barbecue or just play table tennis and never miss this unique view. Incredible property and location. The views from the outside terrace breathtaking.

We had a fabulous time at the villa. Peace and tranquility combined with good access to the surrounding tourist areas of Córdoba, Granada, Malaga and Antequera. The small town of Iznajar also worth a visit. We highly recommend this villa.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances dans cette superbe villa. Elle est très bien équipée, très propre, au calme et avec une vue splendide ! La piscine est très agréable et sécurisée. Juan Carlos et sa femme sont des personnes adorables et très soucieuses du bien être de leurs hôtes. Nous vous recommandons vivement cette location.

Sunsets!

We had a brilliant time visiting Andalusia thank you. We will be back to see so much more. The villa was spot on, had everything we needed. The hosts were great and accommodating of our late arrival. Juan was quick to reply to all our messages. Lovely guy! We enjoyed days around the pool and visiting the area. The adrenaline ride on the last 200m was even fun once we were sure. The pictures, though spectacular, do not even do justice to the views. Just amazing vista across the lake. We sat every evening just marvelling at the sunset. Thank you Juan and your family.

Pleasant stay here!

We stayed at Juan‘s house for a couple of weeks in the summer and really enjoyed it! The house is spacious and leaves more than enough room for everybody. Our personal highlights were the two terraces on the upper floor and at the front porch, both with beautiful views of the lake, especially during sunset. The pool is big as well and nicely designed with steps rather than a ladder and a beautiful floor. Personally, we did not use the indoor dining table, but in the rare case of bad weather it should also provide a nice alternative to the outside terrace. Lastly, the family of Juan were the most welcoming hosts imaginable, they came from time to time in order to clean or do maintenance work on the pool, sometimes they even brought us fruit or local goods, which we really enjoyed! All in all we can only recommend Juan‘s house and still have a lot of beautiful memories from our vacation there!

Vacaciines en Familia

Hola a todos, Hemos estado una semana en la casa de Juan Carlos y la estancia ha sido excelente. La casa es muy comoda y mucho mas bonita de lo que se aprecia en las fotos. Hemos estado 10 personas y no falta de nada. La piscina fenomenal y hay que decir que la casa cuenta con aire acondicionado en todas las estancias, fundamental en estas fechas. En definitiva, hemos pasado una semana en familia agradable y tranquula segun lo previsto. El entoeno es muy bonito y la ubicaciin de la casa te permite visitar ademas de Iznajar, Cordoba, Granada, Malaga que esta a una hora en coche y Jaen o Ronda que estan a una hora y quarto si os apetece mucho turisteo. Los anfitriones, tanto Juan Carlos.como su mujer han estado pendientes de todo y han acudido rapodamente cunado ha sido necesario asi que muchas gracias por vuestra dedicacion.

A large, well equipped house in a quiet location with lovely views.

The house is as described and pictured - spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Juan Carlos was a delightful host and that, combined with the comfortable, well equipped house, made for a lovely relaxing holiday. He was particularly kind to us when we had to postpone our holiday 2 years in succession due to Covid restrictions. The views from the terrace meant we spent lovely evenings gazing at the view. The swimming pool allowed us to cool down in the hot weather and there was always a shady spot to sit and enjoy the breeze when it got hot. It is a very quiet, rural area with lovely, scenic, white villages to visit. We had previously visited Cordoba before staying at the house and this made for a good split between city sightseeing and rural tranquility. There is very good supermarket – Mercadona – in Rute (15 mins away) where we were able to buy excellent supplies for when we wanted to cook or make ourselves salads etc. They also have a good range of ready to eat meals including fresh pizzas, pastas etc. The nearby local restaurant – El Charcon – serves wonderful Spanish food – ideal for meat and fish eaters, although there are non-meat options. Our view is that most portions would happily feed 2! Nice restaurants in Iznajar as well. An ideal place for people who want rural tranquility, although Iznajar and Rute are both within 15 minutes easy drive and it is possible to drive to Cordoba or Granada within about an hour or so. Definitely somewhere to return to.

The house was perfect! Spectacular and amazing home, and caring and attentive host! We loved it!

There is so much we can say... Iznájar and this home made for one of the best trips ever. Where to begin... We loved staying here. My husband, my boys, and I had an amazing time. The view was spectacular! The views during the morning, day, and sunsets made for an unforgettable breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The sunsets were just beautiful! The house was perfect and incredibly peaceful. We were happy to be away from our city lives. The town and the people were lovely and very friendly. We ate at one of the restaurant Carlos recommended and the food was delicious and plenty. We took some for lunch the next day. We shopped in Rute, 12 minutes away, and the small shop, which is located in the center of the street. The owner and the older gentlemen were nice to talk too. Carlos and his family were very welcoming and so wonderful. They welcomed us with cheese, fruits, Jamon. They were very accommodating and helped us getting around. We felt like we were with family. Carlos’ dad gave us fruits for our trip. He reminded us of our beautiful grandparents back in our parents native country. The hardest thing for us was leaving and saying good-bye to Carlos, his family, the house, and the sunsets. This was my first time staying in HomeAway, and we are so happy we found this home but most importantly Carlos and his family. We will be returning soon. Thank you Carlos and family for your hospitality, and thank you to Iznájar for making this one of the most memorable vacations for us. We’ve been to many places but this was truly a home away from home with the beauty and splendor that this home offers.

Wonderful villa with a stunning view

If you want to explore Andalusia, this centrally situated villa is probably the best pick. In every corner of the house you can feel the love, care and effort owners Carlos and his wife are putting in this villa. If Andalusia wasn't such a fantastic region waiting to get explored, you would be sitting on the fence watching the ever changing breathtaking views all day long. Granada, Málaga and Córdoba are within an hour drive, and even Sevilla is within reach. This villa is great for families, even with little children, as the gate to the pool can be securely locked. In the living room there's a lovely fireplace to warm up the cooler Andalusian pre summer nights. A pingpong table guarantees hours of competitive fun. And last but not least: the home made olive oil represents the quintessence of this rural area: olive trees as far as the eye can reach. Absolutely loved it!

"wij zijn net terug van e...

"wij zijn net terug van een heerlijke week in de villa Vesanilla in Iznajar. Enige minpuntje waren misschien de bedden, die vrij hard zijn. Maar voor de rest hebben we een fantastische week gehad. Op een dag na, alle dagen in de villa gebleven. Gezond, gezwommen, gebbq-t, gelezen, etc. Een erg schone, nieuwe, ruime villa. En de eigenaars zijn zo ontzettend aardig, dat het bijna voelt als familie. De uitrusting is meer dan compleet. Er staan veel kruiden, wat olijfolie, vaatwastabletten. En ze zorgden zelfs voor een ontbijt met heerlijke spaanse ham, omdat we ''s avonds laat aankwamen. Wij willen volgend jaar weer!"

"Zeer mooi gelegen vrijstaande villa met zwembad en schitterend uitzicht over het meer van Iznajar. Goed onderhouden en schoon. Eigenaren zijn zeer gastvrij. Eigen vervoer is aan te raden gezien de ligging van de woning. Ligging is centraal met alle grote steden op rij afstand (1 uur, Sevilla 2 uur). Voldoende en goed huisraad en uitrusting. Gunstige prijs-kwaliteit verhouding, zeker in het voor- en najaar. Een echte aanrader!!"

"Mooi vakantiehuis centra...

"Mooi vakantiehuis centraal gelegen (tussen Granada, Cordoba, Malaga, Sevilla), met uitzicht op het meer en de olijfgaarden door de perfecte ligging op een heuvel. Het huis zag er verzorgd uit en was van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot pluspunt waren de tafeltennistafel, de BBQ en het zwembad. De eigenaar en zijn familie waren erg gastvrij (sprak wel alleen Spaans). Een aanrader!"

"Prachtige lokatie op een heuvel met een prachtig uitzicht op olijfgaarden en een groot meer. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien (wasmachine, vaatwasser, kookplaat, koelkast, buitenbarbecue etc). Het interieur ziet er prima verzorgd en schoon uit. Een prima uitvalsbasis voor tripjes naar Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla en het strand."

"- Enigszins afgelegen en voor onze begrippen met de auto wat moeilijk bereikbaar (steile onverharde toegangsweg tegen berghelling). - Zeer rustig gelegen maar daardoor met maximale privacy. - Schitterend uitzicht. - Zeer complete uitrusting en huisraad in en rond het huis. - Schoon/proper en prima onderhouden en verzorgd huis. - Zeer ruim huis met veel ruimte, 3 badkamers, 4 tweepersoonsslaapkamers, prima keuken voorzien van oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, kooktoestel, aparte bijkeuken met koelvriescombinatie, woonkamer voorzien van comfortabele gesloten houthaard. - Diverse terrassen met zon en schaduw, prachtig zwembad. - Weliswaar wat afgelegen ligging maar centraal tussen Granada, Cordoba en Malaga (alles ca. 1 uur per auto). Sevilla iets verder met kleine 2 uur. De wegen zijn allen zeer nieuw of prima onderhouden. - Tot slot: vriendelijke gastvrije ontvangst door eigenaren, helaas (of juist niet) alleen spaanstalig. "

Magnifique villa

Nous avons passé de magnifique vacances dans cette villa en montagne. Il y a une vue incroyable surtout au coucher de soleil. Il n’y a rien à dire sur la propreté de la maison et des équipements mis à disposition. Quant à l’hôte et sa femme, ils ont été très gentils, patient, à l’écoute du moindre problème. Je recommande vivement cette villa et je remercie Carlos et sa femme pour leur accueil et leurs gentillesse.

Wir wurden auch zur späten Stunde sehr herzlich begrüßt. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und stets zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas Wissen wollten. Das große Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Am Pool und am Esstisch gab es viele Schattenplätze. Der Blick von der Veranda war atemberaubend. Wir haben jeden Abend den wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang und den klaren Nachthimmel genossen.

Wunderbare Villa mit phantastischem Ausblick!!

Das Haus ist in einem hervorragendem Zustand. Handwerklich ist es wunderbar hergerichtet. Wir haben uns zwei Wochen lang rundum wohlgefühlt. Vom Pool aus kann man die Sonne zwischen den Hügeln untergehen sehen. Juan ist ein toller Gastgeber - per WhatsApp/SMS stets erreichbar. Die Umgebung bietet Möglichkeiten des täglichen Einkaufs (Mercadona), tolle Restaurants und auch mehrere Tankstellen (auch mit DKV). Für Tagesausflüge sind die Städte Malaga, Granada und auch Sevilla mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar und eine Reise wert! Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub, Juan!

Lovely house with magnificent views

We had a wonderful time at Juan Carlos’s place! There was 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 children and the house was just the right size for such a group. There’s everything you need - plenty of pots and pans and cutlery, oven, microwave and a special equipment to make paella! Outside there’s a barbacue and we used it to grill some fresh fish. Washing machine proved very useful during our 2 weeks stay, espescially as some of us only had hand luggage. We even used the swimming pool though the water was still quite cold at the time of our stay in the first half of April. The view is the biggest asset of the house - watching a sunset every day was my favourite entertainment. Although there isn’t a proper garden at the property there are plenty of walking paths nearby offering beautiful views of the Sierra Subbettica and Iznajar. The house is quite secluded, located on a hill. If you want to get to the lake or Iznajar you probably need a car as it’s about 5km away on a hilly terrain. There’s a lovely restaurant nearby (40 min walk or few min drive), great supermarket is in Rute (about 15 min drive). Nearby town of Iznajar is beautiful and well worth a visit as well as Cabra, Lucena and Zuheros (a bit further away, highly recommend visiting nearby cave). We also visited lovely Cordoba, Grenada (about an hour drive) and magnificent Seville (2 hour drive). One day we went at the seaside - closest beach is in Malaga but we decided to go a little further (1.5 hour drive) to lovely Nerja which has a number of well maintained beaches. We also highly recommend visiting Subbettica Nature Reserve - the mountains and the nature are absolutely stunning and there are plenty of hiking and walking paths (ask at Tourist Information in Rute or Iznajar for tips). Few of us brought bikes and enjoyed cycling in the area - it is very safe as the locals are used to cyclists and there are signs everywhere. There are also paths for mountain bikes. In summary - there’s so much to do that we easily filled every day of our 2 week stay with activities and still hadn’t explored everything! The first couple of days and nights were rainy and cold and it took a while for the fireplace to heat up the house so that was a slight inconvenience, espescially given the fact that there were small children in the group. The other little problem was with hot water - it would take a while to get hot water from the tap. But overall we can’t complain. It was a beautiful stay! Thank you Carlos!

Magnifica vivienda en el corazon de Andalucia

La vivienda es una pasada. Esta ubicada en el corazón de Andalucia y esta cerca(a 1 hora de Granada, Cordoba & Malaga) Tiene mucho espacio y muchos servicios disponibles para poder disfrutarla(barbacoa, piscina, mesa de ping pong etc) Juan Carlos es super amable y flexible, por culpa del trafico hemos llegado super tarde pero el nos recibió con una sonrisa y mucho cariño. Seguro que en algún momento volveré a reservar la casa teniendo en cuenta la experencia que tuve con Juan Carlos.
