  • In a protected natural area, discover a fully renovated 18th-century character house on the riverbank with a beach and mountain views. Independent cottage, adjoining the owners' house. Two master suites, one with a private terrace overlooking the river. A fully equipped kitchen with a terrace (dining area - barbecue - sun loungers) - a comfortable dining room. Two bathrooms and two toilets. The house animals (goats, dog, cats) are kept in their enclosed areas, but they may occasionally come to say hello! It is therefore advisable that your pet be docile with them for a harmonious stay. Relax by the river on a 6000 m² property with access to the rafting course and kayak. In the heart of the Basque Country, near Espelette and the Cambo thermal baths, the gîte is ideal for spa visitors, with fishing and hiking areas on site. We offer a special rate for spa visitors for 3 weeks.

Christian et Sylvie sont des hôtes charmants et aidants, ils connaissent bien la région et sont de bons conseil.La location est très agréable avec sa petite plage sur la rivière et son grand terrain.Palma est une chienne très gentille et câline, elle s’est bien entendue avec notre chienne.Quand à la région elle est superbe et la location est bien placée pour explorer la partie la plus à l’ouest des Pyrénées atlantiques, de la côte à saint-Jean-pied-de-port ainsi qu’une partie du Pays Basque Espagnol.

Chère Sylvie et cher Christian,Votre accueil, empreint de bienveillance et de générosité, nous a profondément touchés.Bill, Liam et moi-même vous remercions d’avoir été « acteurs » de nos merveilleuses vacances dans votre gîte durant cet été 2026. Ce séjour restera gravé dans nos mémoires, tel « un spectacle » qui a nourri l’enfance.Votre gîte, à l’image de vos belles personnalités et du parcours de vie qui est le vôtre, est un lieu empreint d’authenticité et de sérénité où nous nous sommes sentis bien. Le son de la rivière, la vue sur les montagnes et cette proximité avec la nature nous ont permis de nous ressourcer.Vos « welcoming » fleurs, vos délicieux légumes fraîchement cueillis, les savons artisanaux au parfum délicat et le café d’appoint « Le Bonifieur », si bien nommé, ont sublimé notre séjour.Les soirées partagées autour de vos repas simples, généreux et authentiques resteront également parmi nos plus beaux souvenirs : ces moments de convivialité, d’échanges et de partage ont donné à notre séjour une saveur toute particulière.Nous espérons sincèrement pouvoir, à notre tour, vous ouvrir les portes de notre maison à La Rochelle et vous offrir un accueil à la hauteur de celui que vous nous avez réservé.Nous espérons vous revoir très bientôt, chers nouveaux amis, et continuer à écrire ensemble cette belle histoire de rencontres et de partage.Bill, Liam et Valérie Holton
