'Schitterend hotel, heel gastvrij en schoon. Personeel heel vriendelijk en uiterst behulpzaam een dikke 10! Roomservice is voortreffelijk en prijzen zijn uiterst rendabel restaurant heeft ook genoeg keuzes en lekker eten. Kamers zijn mooi en worden heel goed schoongemaakt. Metro, taksimplein en istiklalcaddesi op steenworp afstand. Voelden ons echt op ons gemak alsof we thuis waren. Wij raden deze accommodatie dan ook echt aan! '

'Goede hotel'

'A very nice small hotel on a perfect location. On a 3-4 minutes walking distance from Taksim Square an Metro station. To the Havabus busstop for Sabiha Gökcen airport is a 7 min walk. All hotel personnel very friendly and helpful, on duty 24/7. The room (no. 4, street side) was nice and clean, water boiler, water, coffee and tea available. We would definitly go there again on a next visit.'

'The location was perfect to start your adventure in Istanbul. The only thing…it is near soccer stadion Besiktas..(which is also really cool..because from the rooftop you can look at the stadion..)so when there is a football match all roads around are closed and the reach of the hotel is not that easy by car/taxi.'

'If you want to not only stay in a clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city, but also at an antique building, this is the place to be. The lovely staffs make you feel home. I stayed in a superior room in the third floor, super nice, clean and quiet (you need to keep the window close of course). It was 37 degrees during my stay, but I did not feel it with good air condition. Taksim is 1-2 minutes walking distance which you can reach metro, bus station, all kind of restaurants, cafe,...

'For the price per room, this was a great hotel. The people are very very friendly and helpfull, speaking english sufficiently. Great breakfast wiht a lot of choice, reastaurant on the top floor =, great view. Rooms were little crampy, for one person it is OK. Bathroom brandnew and neat. The bed is too short for the average Dutch guy :-), so I must lay diagonally. I booked the top floor room which had a magnificent view westward. 'It’s a cosy, small hotel with clean rooms and polite and helpful staff. Don’t expect business class 4-star hotel, but compare to the cost and perfect location (2 minutes walk to Taksim square), I recommend it.'

'We had a very good experience staying here. Read the clear instructions you get over email to understand options available to reach the place. There are taxis available and also hava bus(airport buses) which has a stop just 10 minutes walk away from hotel. Hotel guys informed us about all this and it was really very helpful to take domestic flights for us to cappadocia. We also stayed one more night here after we were back from cappadocia and stored our extra luggage in hotel. Hotel staff was...

"The Barcelo Istanbul hotel applies to all the standards and regulations that belong to a 5* hotel.. The hotel is located north-west of Taksim Square (450 meter) and within walking distance of e.g. Istiklal street and to the north you will find the Dolmabahçe Palace. Check-in was quick. The hotel reception staff is friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious with elegant decor and furniture. It features a king-size bed, space for clothing, shoes and dresses. Blackout curtains, and all the amenities you would expect. Downside was the noise from our neighbors. A minibar with sodas and beer. Prices rather high. Some doubts about the functioning of the air conditioning. The bathroom is equipped with all the amenities as you would expect from a 5*-star hotel. The rain shower has a very powerful jet. You'll find soaps, shampoos, and care products readily available. The rooftop shows an overview of the city on 2 sides and there are also 2 jacuzzis available. The breakfast restaurant offers a spacious and decorated environment. Enough choices. An egg station is available. The tables are cleared quickly, and everything is replenished on time. The hotel bar offers a selection of drinks and food. I ordered a small bottle of beer, which cost me 475 TL (about 10 euros). Are there better hotels in Istanbul? Absolutely. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes! The price-to-quality ratio is very good. The location is convenient, the staff is welcoming.This hotel is definitely worth it."

"Hele aardige hotelpersoneel die ook echt hun uiterste best doen om je verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Ik kreeg een taart naar mijn kamer toegestuurd met een lief kaartje erbij. Maakte het verblijf nog specialer en waarderender. Ik zal de volgende keer weer bij dit hotel verblijven."

"Hotel is echt een 5* hotel met alle luxe, schone kamers, lekker bed en ik zelf had een perfecte uitzicht is op loopafstand van de bekende Taksim square, wat ik wel minder vond is dat je buiten je boekingskosten ook nog eens extra €5,60,- per nacht voor je kamer moest betalen slaat nergens op je betaald al een hoop voor een 5 sterren hotel en dan moet je ook nog eens extra per kamer per nacht betalen, alles kost geld in dit hotel maar buiten dit is het zeker een mooie hotel, ik zou altijd eerst van te voren even bellen met de hotel en zeker zijn wat wel en wat niet zit in je accomodatie, en ze vragen ook extra borg wat ik kan begrijpen alleen de borg die ze kunnen vragen kan wel tot 150 euro oplopen per dag. Verder is het echt een mooie hotel leuke kamers vriendelijke personeel."
