'Beautiful cabin. It was really clean. I loved it. Not so fond of letting know when I will arrive and they send a sms because I was late... I am on Holiday so time is not important to me. 'This is a "self-check-in" lodge in the woods, easy to miss the dirt road leading to the property. The property does not have a sign saying "Hideaway lodge", it simply has the house number labelled "private property". You simply go in the lodge, at the appointed check-in time (NOT earlier!... of course the door in unlocked). 'The cabin was spacious, clean, stocked with everything we needed and super comfortable. We really enjoyed out stay. The river/lake was near and beautiful. We had 7 adults and were all very pleased with the accommodations. We will come back'

'Please read the hotel’s descriptions. This place doesn’t have an AC. It was in the 60’s & 70’s when we visited and it was ok with the windows open and stand fan on. Very convenient while visiting the park. It’s walking distance from the geysers and trails. I chose this for convenience and location around Yellowstone.
