« The breakfast was a good variety of buffet style except the hot cooked full breakfast or part off, plenty of filter coffee and pots of tea. The staff, Debbie, Amy and Katy were all friendly and polite. Very professional and a pleasure to be served by them »

« Excellent stay at the Chequers Inn again for a week for the New Year. Beautiful room, good food, clean, lovely staff - shout out to Angela who went above & beyond for us! Lovely compassionate email sent to us following the very sad death of my Dad whilst we were away. Only downside - the bar closed at 10:30pm on New Years Eve! We will definitely return. »

The most central location you could have in Newport - the bus garage was right next door which took us to all the tourist locations that I would recommend - the needles, shanklin beach, carisbrook castle and the garlic farm. The guesthouse also has an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs, great food, really delicious and great price.
