Beautiful building. Clean nice space and pool. Difficult check in scenario for us. Lack of amenities and basic things you will need on a trip to Mexico. Far from anything - you need a golf cart. If you want a beautiful room and that’s all you want - great - but would choose a hotel on this island. Check in - they wouldn’t give us code enroute till we got there but then all power and most cell service were down on island that day so nightmare 104 heat all afternoon no service to get code, then lock didn’t work (electricity), finally inside building the room key was locked inside our room…by the time they found a local person with all his kids, to help us as a favor to wherever the manager was whatsapping from, and go find extra keys... my gf had a heat stroke and was throwing up and sick the rest of the day. (Not their fault but a risk of renting a room from someone out of country instead of hotel). Amenities - no fridge no microwave or coffee or anything just a bed couch and tv. In MX you need a fridge if you want to drink cold bottled water. We had to ride to a store everytime we wanted a sip of cold water. The balcony upstairs w “small pool” is shared with building too - beautiful- all pools are nice! Just know all shared. Only thing you get is your room and living room and bathroom. Lastly this is a good couple mile ride to playa Norte which I knew and wanted to check it out but wouldn’t do again. Very early development area around it. Go with hotel and more north.
